haha. Never heard that before. And yeah, her neck is definitely long and skinny. Cindy is actually a suitable name, too. She kinda looks like a Cindy or a Genevieve, I think...hmmmm. Thanks for sharing the lyrics. It made me smile, plus provided a suggestion.

It's called Riding Hood. It was originally going to be some detailed black and white lineart, but I went crazy and colored it. I don't usually detail that much, though. But showing that I could got me out of the Beginners' Oekaki I was in and into the Main Oekaki. 8D

That's a pretty scene you captured there, Nairin. I really like the black line detail at the top of the drawing.

You should definitely get back around to finishing it at some point. I'm fond of the colour you applied to the face and how it blends nicely with the hair, especially the eyes. It definitely feels like an autumn piece, very beautiful.

that doesn't make it any clearer now, what is your message in plain language??

if you are still interested in knowing how to post images, this is what you do.

take the complete url of the image (.gif/.png/.jpg), copy and paste it...then right before the url, put:
img
with open and closed brackets on either side "["

then after the url, do the same thing, except after the open brack and before the "img" place a forward slash "/"
"[/???]" the question marks represent the letters:

[???](url goes here)[/???]
but without the parentheses and IMG replacing the question marks.

IF you mouse-over the little icon that looks like two mountains and a sun above it, which is right beside the youtube icon, when posting, you will see the format-to-follow listed below the icon in the green strip.

How confusing was that explanation? When I was first trying to post images, I was confused, because I'm used to using HTML. I don't generally use forums/BBS. But I guess it's standard forum posting code.

the youtube icon stands out. My screen resolution is high, so I'm not sure if I was describing the picture icon properly, so I mentioned the youtube icon for reference purpose, incase the image one isn't mountains and a sun like it appears to be to me. plus, if you aren't using the icons, when you are on this post screen, you may get distracted by other things, such as the emoticons and not notice the toolbar...I totally overlooked the toolbar the first few times I ever posted on here...and then I was like "oh...look at this..." (after html wasn't working)...it would be nice if you could highlight the image url and click the icon, letting it put in the code like you can with bold and italics, but nnnnnnoo...well, at least it doesn't let me on my end, so you have to type it out yourself. good thing it gives the reference, though.

that was a long explanation for something simple, huh? I'm talkative tonight. P.S. I went to your site and checked out a couple of galleries, and enjoyed your alcheringa-styled art. I'm going to look at all your stuff in a little while, but I am so fond of aboriginal dreamtime art that I got excited when those thumbnails came up. Beautiful.
