Anyone seriously interested in guitar who hasnt heard/seen this guy play might want to check out these vids... I put them in the order that I think shows the most skill. I love guitar, I play it on a moderate level, I listen to it obsessively. I have never heard anyone as good. This includes Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Al DiMeola, Eddie Van Halen, etc...

If you like it, I encourage you to search around some more for his stuff. He really is amazing.

Yngwie Malmsteen? He can't be better than the grandmaster himself.

Just listened to Yngwie Malmsteen. I had already heard trilogy suite before, but didnt know who did it. Anyways, listened to a few of his songs... I still think that Fernando Miyata is the better technical guitar player... You have a link or specific song/solo that might change my mind?

Arpeggios From Hell? Although I have to say, he seems to be going for some sort of speed record. If he wanted to be more techincally proficent with Arpeggios From Hell, he could, but his ego kind of gets in the way here. Oh, did I mention he has an ego as big as Noah's Ark?

Ok, theres no doubt the guy has some mad skills, but Im still inclined to think that Fernando Miyata is more skilled

EDIT:
btw, been listening to more of Fernando Miyata. As far as the way it sounds, I think this song is the coolest. As far as technical skill, not as much so as the other links posted. It has a lot more of a hard rock sound. Very badass.
