(The following is a fan fiction I made about the Chaotic collectible card game, it is taken directly from the chaotic website in original words so if something seems out of place like spaces between words it is because their censorship was very sensitive.)

Part 1:

Kuroda Akiri a.k.a "RaiSensei" is a collector of the rarest cards in Chaotic, but its how he gets the cards that makes this story interesting...


dressed in an all black ninja-yoroi, (ninja clothing) Kuroda ports to Chaotic and then to Perim to challenges creatures in battles for scans of them.
"I challenge you Tangath Toborn!" Kuroda yelled as he drew his ninja-to. (sword)
Tangath Toboron turned around and laughed. "A human, challenging me?" Tangath asked.
"Yes, and if I win I get to scan you." kuroda replied.
Tangath Toborn lifted his sword and pointed it at Kuroda. "Fine human, I was getting bored anyway!" Tangath exclaimed as he charged Kuroda.
The two warrior's swords clashed, Tangath was clearly stronger and with brute force he pushed back Kuroda.
"Your stronger than I expected." Kuroda said as he jumped back. "But lets see how fast you are." and with that he vanished.
"Never seen a human do that before." Tangath said as he tried to find his target.
Just then three shuriken (throwing stars) came flying at Tangath Toborn from a tree, he lifted his sword and blocked two while the third grazed his arm cutting him.
"Nice move, lets see you try it again." Tangath said.
"Always keep your opponent guessing, the same attack in a row isn't my style" Kuroda said as he jumped from the tree and lunged at Tangath Toborn.
unexpecting the attack Tangath Toborn is struck by Kuroda's blade.
"AH, I can't believe I was bested by a human!" Tangath exclaimed.
The wound wasn't fatal but Tangath Toborn knew he couldn't win, he let Kuroda scan him and with that Kuroda ported back to chaotic.
"Got a new scan of Tangath Toborn!" Kuroda exclaimed as he ported in.
Everybody knew he challenged the creatures of perim to scan them.
"Why do you challenge the creatures, why not just use your stealth to scan them?" someone asked him.
"Have you ever seen me lose in the dromes?" he replied.
"Well, no." the same person answered.
"Challenging the creatures of Perim hones my skills to use in the dromes, if the creatures themselves can't defeat me then someone using them is no match." Kuroda said simply.
"Oh really?" a guy said stepping forward. "The name is Axel and I am the greatest Tangath Toborn player there is, I challenge you to a battle." Axel said.
"Fine, to the dromes then" Kuroda said as they headed to the dromes.

Part 2:

As they entered the drome a voice said "Welcome to battle drome Chirrul, players step forward" Kuroda and Axel stepped forward. "Dock your scanners" the voice said. The players did so and chose their creature, battle gear, mugic, and locations. "Lock your decks, battle board locked." the voice said and continued, "field of play revealed"
It was Qwun vs. Tangath Toborn, Kuroda vs. Axel. "Because Kuroda won his last match in the Chirrul drome he will be the attacker." the voice said. Kuroda spun the location randomizer, it landed on Storm Tunnel. Qwun attacks Tangath Toborn. "Kuroda said"

The battle starts in the confined Storm Tunnel, Qwun quickly races up the side of the tunnel. "Lightning Burst!" Qwun shouts, as a bolt of lightning heads straight for Tangath Toborn. Tangath raises his sword to block the attack and the metal of his sword conducts and increases Lightning Burst's power. Blown back by the force Tangath wastes no time, "Inferno Gust!" Tangath shouts as a flame as big as the storm tunnel barrels towards Qwun, unable to do anything Qwun is hit with the full force of the attack. Both players are left with 20 energy. "Thuner Shout!" Qwun yells, the attack deals 15 damage to Tangath. "Lavalanche!" Tangath Toborn yells, this attack would be the end of the match! The attack hits, but the game continues...
The smoke clear and Qwun is holding an aqua shield. He immediately charges Tangath Toborn. "Paral-Eyes!" Qwun yells as he deals the finishing blow. "AH, I can't believe I lost!" Axel yelled as he stormed out of the drome. "Don't let the drome hit ya on the way out!" Kuroda shouted as Axel left.

Kuroda goes back to the Chaotic transport center and sits down preparing to order some food, just then Kuroda's scanner starts beeping and he c.l.i.c.ks on it. The Chaotic voice came on and said, "RaiSensei, Codemaster Chirrul challenges you to battle." it then went on to say, "prepare your deckand report to the Chirrul drome in exactly 24 hours." The Chaotic voiced finished. "Woah, I did not see that coming!" Kuroda exclaimed.

Part 3:

Kuroda had 24 hours before he had to battle a Codemaster, he wasn't ready at all. He decided he needed help so he ported to perim...

After stalking his target for awhile he decided he would strike. "Hyaa!" Kuroda shouted as he lunged for Tartarek. Tartarek blocked Kuroda's blade with his staff, the two then stared at each other for a few minutes. "Kuroda, my good friend." Tartarek said. "Sensei, it's good to see you again." Kuroda replied. The two laid down their weapons, "Where have you been all this time?" Tartarek asked as they walked together. "You know, battling the fiercest creatures in Perim, nothing new." Kuroda replied with a smile. "Well it's good to see you again but I doubt you would just drop by without a reason, what brings you to my neck of the woods?" Tartarek asked as they stopped walking.

After Kuroda explained the situation up until now he finished with, "I would like you to train me like in the old days." Tartarek stood there taking all the information in and then said, "You know there really isn't much more I can teach you." Tartarek said. "But you are the wisest and bravest creature I know, if you can't help me no one can." Kuroda said as he worried about his fate. "Alright, but first we should spar to see if you have gotten any better." tartarek said reassuringly.

Kuroda pulled nunchaku (nunchucks) from his yoroi and Tartarek raised his staff. "Begin!" Tartarek said. The two warriors charged each other, staff collides with nunchaku. Kuroda traps Tartarek's staff between the chain of his nunchaku. Both warriors pull and twist, the weapons fly out of the warrior's hands. They begin to fight hand to hand, blow for blow they seem evenly matched. Tartarek suddenly spins 360 degrees using his shell as a weapon, Kuroda jumps back but his arms get cut by the sharp s.p.i.k.e.s. on Tartarek's shell. The warriors then b.o.w. to each other and stop fighting. "You are the only creature I have fought that is able to continuously defeat me." Kuroda said as he raised his head. "I have decided I cannot help you Kuroda." Tartarek said bluntly as he started to walk away...

part 4:

Kuroda was running out of time and his only hope was Tartarek but it seemed his only hope was going to forsake him...

"Tartarek, wait!" Kuroda shouted after him.
Tartarek stops, "What is it Kuroda?" he asked without turning around.
"At least tell me why you can't help me." Kuroda replied.
"The reason I cannot help you is you do not need it, I thought I had more to offer you but you proved me wrong in combat." Tartarek said as he turned around with a smile on his face. "Even though there are still things I do not understand about the Chaotic game you play I believe you will be able to win against this Codemaster." Tartarek said.
"Thank you Tartarek Sensei." Kuroda said as he bowed.
"There is one thing I can offer you since you did come all this way, a new scan of me to use in your battle with the Codemaster." Tartarek said as he walked towards Kuroda.
"But I did not defeat you in battle, it goes against my ways. "Kuroda replied.
"Well we could battle again and I could let you win but I doubt you would like that way even more." Tartarek responded.
"That is true..." Kuroda said as he thought about it for some time. "This is the first time I will have used a scan I did not aquire by defeating the creature, but I am desperate to win this Codemaster match." Kuroda said as he pulled his scanner from his yoroi. "Say cheese." Kuroda added as he scanned Tartarek.

With his newly obtained scan of Tartarek and a growing confidence, Kuroda ported back to Chaotic and worked out his battle plan.

Kuroda spent the rest of his time tuning his deck, so many things were running through his head as he headed to the drome. He was confident, worried, excited, and intimidated. "A ninja should never show emotion and yet I cant help but have all these feelings."
As Kuroda entered the drome, Chirrul the codemaster rode up on a circular platform. A voice then spoke "RaiSensei, you have won seven battles here in the Chirrul drome." The voice then went on to say, "For this reason you have been challenged by codemaster Chirrul to test your skills himself."
Kuroda and Chirrul said nothing to each other, the voice continued. "For no particular reason at all, RaiSensei will be the attacker." (my attempt to make the story funnier)
"Players, lock your decks." The voice said, Kuroda and Chirrul did as they were instructed.

Kuroda widened his eyes as he saw his opponents deck and he said, "n-no way, it cant be!"

part 5:

(Kuorda's deck layout is 2 Brathes in the front equipped with Ring of Na'arins and the scan of Tartarek he just obtained in the back equipped with... well you'll see)

Kuroda was looking right at Mipedians he had never seen before, "W-what kind of Mipedians are those?" Kuroda stuttered as his eyes remained on the cards.
Chirrul then replied, "You shall see... in combat."
"Fine!" Kuroda shouted as he shook off the shock and awe. He spun the Chaotic randomizer... "Brathe attacks Vasquin at Fear Valley!" Kuroda said as he turned into Brathe.

Chirrul turned into Vasquin and without another word the two began their battle.
Immediatley after the battle started Kuroda lost 10 energy due to Fear Valley's effect. "Ahh, so much for a good headstart." Kuroda said as he looked around for Codemaster Chirrul.
"Skeletal Strike!" Chirrul shouted. A skeletal then burst out of Vasquin's body and rushed Kuroda.
"Melody of Mirage!" Kuroda yelled. The skeletal crumbled to the ground, "My turn." Kuroda said with a smirk on his face
"Spirit GUst!" Kuroda's attack did 20 damage with Brathe's effect putting Kuroda in the lead.

The battle continued until both players had only 10 energy, it was Chirrul's attack and Kuroda was out of tricks... Vasquin finished off Brathe.

As they ported back to the drome and turned human again Kuroda had his head down, he looked like as if he was gonna freak out...
"That was awesome!" Kuroda shouted as he lifted his head with a smile on his face, "It's your move Codemaster." Kuroda added.
Without saying a word Chirrul attacked Kuroda's last Brathe with Vasquin, the location was Sha-Kree Flats. Despite having no experience at this location Kuroda managed to win.

Neither player said anything after they ported back but you could tell they were getting pumped, it was Kuroda's attack and he attacked Chirrul's Ribbian. They battled at Glacier PLains, the players shivered in their scaly skins.
Kuroda didn't know what to expect so he threw in Glacier Plains because he knew the location and thougth there was a chance Chirrul would use Underworlders, he had never seen Codemater Chirrul battle before.
Kuroda fought to stay warm but it barely seemed to affect Chirrul, Ribbian had an easy victory and Kuroda knew that with one one creature left and facing two the odds were stacked against him...

Chirrul wasted no time and attacked Kuroda's Tartarek, the location was storm tunnel...
Ribbian attacked Tartarek with Lightning Burst dealing 15 damage to Tartarek, Tartarek retaliated with Sleep Sting.
they were both now at 20 energy, Ribbian then used Thunder Shout dealing another 15 damage.
Tartarek used Delerium dealing only 5 damage to Ribbian, he then used Overworld aria to heal 10 damage to himself bringing Tartarek and Ribbian both to 15 energy.
With a last ditch effort Tartarek then used nexus fuse, Tartarek wins the battle!

"Yes, yes!" Kuroda chanted as he turned back into his human form. "You are forgetting someone." Chirrul said as he looked at the battle board.
Chirrul had one creature left, Ghatup. Tartarek and Ghatup were at the f a r t h e s t points from eachother on the battle board, Tartarek moves forward, Ghatup then moves forward. Tartarek attacks Ghatup, location Kiru City.

"Yes, 10 energy!" Kuroda yelled as he prepared to attack Ghatup. He spoted his target and attacked, "Viperlash!" Tartarek yelled as his staff turned into snakes and shot directly at Ghatup reducing his energy to 25.
Ghatup then used song of recovery to heal 10 energy and give Ghatup air 5. Ghatup then used Fanfare of the Vanishing giving him invisibilty: strike 15.
Ghatup then attacked, "Pebblestorm!" The attack did 25 damage reducing Tartarek to 20 energy.
Tartarek then used Telekinetic Bolt to not only deal 20 damage to Ghatup but heal 10 energy to himself.
30 energy to 15 energy with Tartarek in the lead, neither creature had any mugic counters so the battle was reduced to who used the strongest attack card the fastest...

"Fearocity!" Ghatup shot a tornado from his hands blowing Tartarek away and dealing 15 damage to Tartarek in the process.
"If your next attack doesn't finish me off then you can bet my next attack will finish you off." Ghatup said bluntly.
"Ok, then I'll be sure to make this one count." Tartarek replied. they stared at each other for awhile until it looked like Ghatup was going to attack, "Rock Wave!"

The battle ended and they were both ported back to the drome, "So who..." Kuroda was cutoff by the voice "The winner is... RaiSensei."

"You played a great game Kuroda Akiri." Chirrul said as a scan was sent to Kuroda's scanner. "Woah, Carnival of Confusion!" Kuroda exclaimed as he picked up his scanner.
"You earned it Kuroda, use it wisely." Chirrul said as Kuroda left the drome.

Kuroda left the drome and started walking but suddenly stopped and said to himself, "Man I wonder what I can score if I trade Carnival of Confusion..."

part 6: ( Jessie James aka jessotic, Mike Jones aka michaelnono, Rick James aka briandaboss )

Kuroda entered the port court and say some familiar faces running towards him.

"Oh man, I saw your codemaster match!" MIke exclaimed. "Yeah dude, we thought you were done for!" Rick added.
Kuroda noticed Jessie wasn't saying anything asked him, "Hey Jessie, is something wrong?"
"Yeah, you said we were going to go to Perim an hour ago." Jessie said.
"Oh man, I'm so sorry." Kuroda apologized. "I completely forgot." he added.
"No big deal man, I understand." Jessie said as he smiled.

jessotic, michaelnono, and briandaboss. Some of the only people Kuroda trusted, they all started playing Chaotic around the same time and became friends quickly.
The four friends then sat down and talked for some time as they ate. They decided to port to Perim and go to Underworld City, they all needed scans of Underworlders.

They ported to Underworld City and started walking down the streets of the city when they were suddenly ambushed by a group of Underworlders.

"Halt, humans!" it was Takinom, she was with Khybon, Grook, and Rothar.
Kuroda knew he could not fight all four of them especially with his friends being with him, "Quickly everyone port out!" Kuroda shouted.
But before they could do anything the group of Underworlders took their scanners.

They were blindfolded and were taken somewhere, Kuroda heightened his other senses to try and find out where they were being taken. The smells were terrible, the sounds were disturbing, they couldve been anywhere in the Underworld!
They stopped and as their blindfolds were being removed they heard a voice say, "Kuroda Akiri, the human that challenges creatures all over Perim and scans them, you are finally our prisoner!"
Their vision was restored and they saw who was talking, it was Chaor himself!

part 7:

As Chaor stood up from his throne Kuroda had an inner struggle to deal with, attempt to defeat and scan the king of the underworld while sacrificing people he had no "clan" ties to or stay loyal to his friends...
While Kuroda thought Chaor began to speak, "I have to admit I didn't, well couldn't really believe a mere human was causing so much trouble for all the creatures of perim and yet time after time my warriors fell before one."
Jessie then spoke up, "Kuroda isn't a mere mortal he's a Ninja." Chaor looked at Jessie, "A Ninja, what are you talking about human?" he demanded.
"Jessie don't say another word!" Kuroda exclaimed as Chaor walked towards them. "This should be simple enough even for a human to understand, either you tell me what a Ninja is or you will perish." Chaor said as he lifted Jessie into the air with one arm.
"A Ninja is an ancient warrior whose mind and body are far stronger than any ordinary human!" Mike blurted out.

Kuroda was losing time and Chaor was losing patience, Kuroda decided friends were more important than a rare scan... "What do you wish of me Chaor?" Kuroda asked with his head lowered.
Chaor laughed maniacally and said, "As you probably already know Maxxor and I aren't exactly friends." They all could see where this was going...
"Eliminate Maxxor or have your friends die." Chaor finished and continued to laugh. He then went on, "Now of course I will have to let you go but your friends will stay in imprisoned." Rick had been quiet this entire time and decided to contribute to this little discussion, "So what makes you think Kuroda won't just run off and leave us?" Rick asked.
Chaor "Well let's think about that for a second, where exactly can he go?" he then added, "As I understand humans can't leave perim without those scanners."
As Chaor said that Kuroda had an idea, if he could get to Tartarek...

part 8:

"Alright Chaor, I'll do whatever you want." Kuroda said. The other looked shocked, they had never seen Kuroda so defenseless.
"Mwa ha ha!" Chaor laughed maniaclly as he approached Kuroda to free him. "Now remember nanjo or whatever they called you, if you don't come back with good news your friends are history."
Chaor said as he freed Kuroda from his shackles. "I'll come back for all of you, I promise." Kuroda said as he threw a smoke bomb and disappeared.
"Well that was quite an entertaining trick." Takinom said as she entered the room with Khybon, Grook, and Rothar. "What would you like us to do?" she continued.
"Grook, you are good with prisoners so I want you and Khybon to stay here and watch these humans." Chaor said as he walked to the door.
"As for you Takinom, I want you and Rothar to find that mysterious human and make sure his job is done, if at anytime it looks like he won't destroy Maxxor then eliminate him."
Chaor said as he left the room.

Kuroda ran as fast as he could to get to Tartarek, if he could get Tartarek to ally with him they just might have a shot at rescuing his friends.
"Tartarek!" Kuroda shouted as he got to Kiru City.
Tartarek was just outside of Kiru City and saw Kuroda. "Kuroda, what's all the urgency for?"
Kuroda began talking a mile a minute and after a few minutes Tartarek knew the whole story.
"So... you want to break into Underworld City, rescue your friends, and escape?" Tartarek asked.
"That's the plan Sensei, do you think we can do it?" Kuroda replied.
"Not without help Kuroda, we need the hero of the Overworld on our side." Tartarek said.

"Not so fast!"
Just then Takinom and Rothar jumped from the trees and attacked the two warriors.
"Chaor thought you might do something like this and sent us to make sure you didn't stray from your objective." Takinom said,
"I'll take the human, I always wanted to fight him." Rotar said as he rushed Kuroda.
"Fine, I get the Old guy." Takinom said as she rushed Tartarek.

Kuroda and Tartarek were knocked on their backs, Kuroda back-flipped back onto his feet and helped Tartarek up.
"I'm getting too old for this." Tartarek said. "Well don't die on me now, we have Underworlders to beat down." Kuroda said.
Kuroda pulled his nunchaku from his yoroi and Tartarek picked up his staff.

Kuroda and Tartarek charged the two Underworlders and swung their weapons upon them but to no avail, the two Underworlders stopped the weapons cold.
"I don't care what they say about you Kuroda, you are still only human!" Rothar said as he punched Kuroda away from him.
"I'm Chaor's second-in-command and a veteran warrior, an old turtle like you doesn't stand a chance!" Takinom said as she kicked Tartarek onto the ground.
"I think we might be in trouble Sensei." Kuroda said as he got up and brushed himself off."
"Remember the third lesson I taught you long ago Kuroda?" Tartarek asked as he looked at Kuroda.
"Oh you mean..." Kuroda's eyes lit up and the two warriors got ready for another round.
Tartarek used his mugic to speed up Kuroda and he ran circles around the two Underworlders hitting them continuously with his nunchaku.
"Ah, what the..." Takinom was interrupted as Kuroda smashed her face with his chucks.
"Y-you ignorant little mortal!" Takinom said as she grabbed Rothar flew into the air.
"Ha, you think we don't have some tricks up our sleeves?" Rothar asked as Takinom dropped him directly over Kuroda.

Kuroda dodged the would-be attack and said to Rothar, "I'll come back for you." He then jumped into the air and unsheathed his ninja-to.
"N-NO!" Takinom yelled as she tried to block the attack.
Takinom and Kuroda fell to the ground, Kuroda landed on his feet while Takinom landed on her back.
Kuroda sheathed his blade and looked at Rothar. "I don't need this, I'm out of here!" Rothar said as he grabbed Takinom who was injured but still alive.

"Should we let them go?" Tartarek asked Kuroda. "Well if you still have energy to chase them you are welcome to it but that was my last attack."
"Yeah, I guess we don't have time to waste anyway." Tartarek said. Tartarek then asked, "Are you ready to meet Maxxor?"
Kuroda replied, "Not really but unpreparedness has never stopped me before."
The two then headed into Kiru City.

Also others might be put off by the thread title. 'Talent' means a special skill or gift and sounds rather boastful, whereas 'skill' might have been more appropriate. I don't know - I'm just offering a reason why not many people have read it.

As for myself, from what I have read it really isn't my style of subject to read about, so I wouldn't be in a position to comment. Sorry.

It's alright, I wasn't expecting much because it isn't a very popular subject for such a site as WP.
