looks kinda like charcoal works, maybe some rubbings. Very good, I can't draw a straight line...;)
My gallery is over at Renderosity, if you want to try another gallery. They've helped many an artist (Deviant art is another place that might fit with these works)

The first 3 tiger ones are kind of blocky, have you tried making even more blocky stuff?
