Hello all, I'm sort of new here, so bear with me. I was wondering if there were any Aspies here who like manga or anime. The reason being is because I am currently writing and illustrating my own doujinshi as a hobby. and I wish to see if my story would interest anyone on the forum.
I'm trying hard to make my story appeal toward both Americans and aspergers in the 17-25 age range, so the humor will be very different, but primarily its supposed to be action/drama with a bundle of comedy and a pinch of romance.
Here is just a small abridged synopsis: (no Grammar Nazis please lol)
Sean Emerson is a genetically altered solder with a dark past and a quiet demeanor. Several years after having escaped a rouge private military company, he finds refuge in Boise Idaho. but after a PMC Helicopter was shot down by a hired gun. The helo crash lands near a gas station where Sean and his roommate were picking up tacos. Sean investigates and finds a strange girl in a liquid containment vat with the letters A.V.A. printed on top. Knowing the vat has been severely damaged; they activate the release system and pull her out. She is brought back to the apartment, and is woken up. She knows nothing of her past or how she came to be. All she remembers is a strange symbol she saw while at the facility and that her name was Ava. It is then left to Sean and Ava to find out more about themselves and each other.
