who here prefers metal? if so, why and what kind?
I like doom metal because its melodic and deep

Most metal just pisses me off but I really enjoy black metal. I generally like the vocals and the atmosphere. Some of my favourite bands include Silencer, Blacklodge and Horna.

I don't care for most metal but I'm in a death metal band.

I like classic metal like Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, and Deep Purple. I also like thrash, such as Metallica and Megadeth. And I like some modern metal like Mastodon and Machine Head.
