Who sings the song "Who Do You Love?", which is featured in the Samuel Adams beer commercials?

The beer commercial doesn't spring immediately to mind, at least not in association with a song, but 'Who Do You Love' is a Doors song. Unless there's another one I'm forgetting.

"Who Do You Love" was originally written and performed by Bo Diddley. The Doors also did a cover. The Wikipedia article gives a list of all the other bands that have recorded it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Who_Do_You_Love

As Madison Avenue traditionally favors familiarity over authenticity, I'm sticking with my original answer. I'm betting that a national advertising agency is going to use The Doors' version over Bo Diddley's any day of the week (tho Nike did use Bo himself in an ad several years back - but only so they could make a convenient pun on his name).

That's what I was guessing.

I often eat at restaurants like Logan's Roadhouse and Texas Roadhouse, and I hear that genre of music a lot.

What is that genre called anyway?

Southern rock would be my guess... maybe classic rock... one of the those

Ya, George Thorogood was who came to mind for me although i've never seen the commercial. His version is the one I know though.
