I love listening to Jimi Hendrix's song "Manic Depression", singing it along with him, but replacing the words "Manic Depression" with the words "Asperger Syndrome".

Adapted Lyrics:
Asperger Syndrome is touching my soul
I know what I want but I just dont know
How to, go about gettin it
Music, sweet music
I wish I could caress, caress, caress
Asperger Syndrome is a frustrating mess

Woman so weary, the sweet cause in vain
You make love, you break love
Its all the same
When its, when its over, mama
Music, sweet music
I wish I could caress, caress, caress
Asperger Syndrome is a frustrating mess

Well, I think Ill go turn myself off,
And go on down
Really aint no use in me hanging around
Music, sweet music
I wish I could caress, caress, caress
Asperger Syndrome is a frustrating mess

This is true, but it doesn't change the fact that the song is actually called "Manic Depression" hehe...i don't think Bi-Polar would fit into the lyrics as well lol

Bipolar disorder will probably have a different name in a decade or so anyway. "Manic depression" back when Jimi Hendrix wrote the song was simply that.

The lyrics have not aged well. By the late-80s the song was so un-PC that Carnivore did a cover of it.
