Virgin MegaStore Signs

Here , the Virgin MegaStore chain has just closed down 100% , as it has in all of the U. S.
The one here in SF had odd black & white drawings on it , on the outside , all of the time I lived here .
I want to satisfy my curiosity about them from SOME-ONE , before the memory of them fades completely .
Were they on the outside of other Virgins ?

It shut down? I was just at the store in Hollywood, CA last week. No sign of a shut down there.

...Are you sure there wasn't a " Final Sale ! _0-_0% Off ! "-type bunch of signs ?
Maybe they're closing at a different schedule , I do recall reading that the whole US chain was going down...
