I have recently opened up a store on cafepress, and have been trying to design a nice looking colour-scheme. However, the fact that I am part colour blind makes things like this a bit tricky, and whilst I can tell the difference between pink and yellow I sometimes miss the more subtle colour changes.

Here is the link: http://www.cafepress.com/Natureheart

How do the colours look to you? Are they far too bright, do the colours clash or anything?
I would be most grateful for any and all input.

The pink looks completely orange to me and with the amber oriented yellow and the tree logo it has a Halloween effect. I like the pink/yellow idea though but maybe more pastel would work or less matte anyway. I like the website. I'm always thinking of odd things to put on tshirts, but I'm never sure if anyone else would see the humor. Wordplay kind of stuff, like DETACH ED.

It looked bright yellow and brown to me, and I liked it.

nice warm colors. At least you have contrast with the fonts, as opposed to some of the 'artistic' sites that use, say, gray on sky blue...;)

overall the design looks ok to me. You might stop by the computer forum here, that's where the experts hang out.

it's too orange and yellow!

Red, Orange and yellow are colours that makes people feel anxious and anger (and hungry). If the idea of the webpage is the one expressed in the page I would rather go to colours and shaped that seems to conect the viewers with the WWF (green, blue and black could be) but if the idea is to give it a more earth like appearance, try to use some orange and mix it with more neutral colours like "bone white" and brown (one with less orange).

And don't forget that the content is as important as the shape!

Good luck!

I liked it, ochres, and oranges, and golds. It's warm, but not glarey.

If you'd asked about the colour scheme on THIS website, I'd have said, "blue and green together should never be seen." :P

It looks bright orange and yellow to me.
I think the colours are a bit too bright for my liking, but that might just be me. I'm rather biased because I don't like those colours at all.
I think it would probably be safer to use natural or pastel colours, as they would deter interest away from the background and onto the text, whereas at the moment the background seems to attract more attention than the writing. At least for me, anyway.

Thanks for your opinion everyone.
Do you agree that I should make the background a little less bold? Or should I leave it as it is? :)
