I've heard this a lot, and my best friend always say the same exact thing. It may sound extreme to some people, but it's quite logical, actually. Unless the potential wife is okay with him not enjoying sex with her! 8O

Not at all. You just may have to wait longer for an answer. But hang in there, if that's what you want, and it just may happen. I've learned that waiting for the right lady is always worth the wait, no matter how long. :) I do believe people are tailor made for each other, but that fact is often hidden until you get to know your perfect mate really well.

I put somewhat important but in the past I have fallen for someone who wasn't initially physically attractive to me but she became that way to me as I got to know her. I don't believe that the things I find most attractive are typical though there is some overlap.

Good looks are important to me, but my definition of them is pretty loose. And physical appearance is only the wrapping of the parcel that is personality.

Somewhat. A girl doesn't have to be super hot or classically beautiful but along as she has average looks (not 300 pounds, deformed, etc.) then it all depends on personality as that is the most important thing for an aspie or anyone for that matter.

Yeah, she doesn't have to look like the models on magazine covers. (most of those are photoshopped anyway)

As long as a girl looks fairly decent (as in, not a freak) and fairly healthy (not anorexic or obese), she has a chance. Everyone's going to have thier own individual preferences beyond that.

Personality is what is most important , not her looks.

Personality does mean more, yes, but appearances are still important to me. If I'm not really attracted to you I won't be anything more than friends with you. Sorry. >.<

To anyone who said looks aren't important: you are lying. Even if you don't think you're lying, you're still lying to yourself. No one wants to enter a long-term relationship with someone who doesn't look healthy. Even if you want to say personality is more important to you, do you honestly think you would spend enough time with a woman that you do not find physically attractive to find out about their personality?

Looks will only catch our attention, personality is what keeps it.

But it terms of looks, isnt there a difference between healthy and hot, for example? And what I mean by that is, isnt "Healthy" a misleading term because what turns a person's head is a hot person (who naturally qualifies as healthy considering that most people would agree hot or someone who has looks that qualify as "goodlooks" possesses a nice body AND a nice face).
