I didn't care for the movie, it was a bit painful to watch.

In my experience, dating someone else with AS is a bit easier than dating an NT, but they each have their own challenges.

Two aspies tend to be better at communicating on the same wavelength, and tend to be more content with just existing, if that makes sense. Conversations are less likely to result in one partner being unintentionally offended. This doesn't mean that there aren't a whole bunch of problems, but it wouldn't be interesting if being an aspie didn't cause all sorts of relationship problems. /sarcasm

Again, this is just my experience.

With an NT, the frustration is more one-way. I'm still trying to learn how to overcome those troubles with my husband. The relationship is more intense in a way, but it adds the challenge of having to learn how an alien thinks.
