Personally, I think that long hair on men is very sexy. In fact, my history with men would show that I almost exclusively favor men with long hair...and the longer the hair the better. I'm not sure if I am attracted to what the long hair tends to represent in society (rebels, non-conformists, etc.) or if it is just that I like it because I have always had very long hair myself. Maybe a little of both.

Regardless, the sexiest thing a man can have is self confidence. So it may be best to choose a hairstyle that makes you feel the most comfortable in your own skin.

I pretty much always dislike long hair on men. Long = anything longer than chin length.

I like long hair when it's discheveled, but the romance novel cover boy doesn't do it for me.
Messy is sexy. Pretty manes are sort of not interesting. But messy heads are cool.
Guys who are oblivious are so sexy to me because it shows that they have something more interesting going on in their head besides hair.

I concur, though I didn't quite think of it until you said that, Magnus. Messy hair is the best. Not greasy, though, just messy--bedhead. What's with that? I know we're not alone. I think it's that it's natural.

Truth be told, I like it on girls, too. It's one little secret turn-on I have for my own gender, even though I consider myself cleanly hetero. It shows that the girl isn't afraid to be natural, and for some reason, that gets my bisexual side out just a little bit.

Actually, one of my picky rules on dating is that I typically go out of my way to date men whose hair is longer than my own. Shallow, I know, but I find long hair irresistible.

I like people with long hair (girls, guys, people who don't fit in the gender binary), I just find people with long hair attractive. Think John Lennon, Yoko Ono, Janis Joplin,...
The shortest length hair I find attractive is a Beatles like shag, with one exception (a girl who is neither femme nor butch and has short but not butch hair).

I'm thinking of doing my hair long. My hair is too scraggly to do short but I think I can pull off long quite well. My brother has similar hair and he grew his hair long and it looked nice.

Hector, you look like Jimmy Page with the long hair, which is cool. If you were to cut it, I would recommend going somewhere around chin-length.
