My diagnoses - social anxiety disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

I’m no longer involved with the ASD world.

for a son my favorite name is one steeped in tradition. it is "Ptah"
"hercules" (imagine a person called hercules with a surname...hercules johnson for example) is another one.

brutus. (as in brutus mclean (hypothetical name)). would be memorable.

another name i would like for a son would be "bam bam".

for a girl, i think a name firmly established in history would be good like "nefertiti".
(eg:nefertitti smith)

but maybe it is also good to look at more recent history
i think "edna" and "ruth" are fitting names.
"madge" and "beryl" are also considerable.

i like also
esmerelda
constance (???)

i wonder also about newly coined names. maybe i could make up a totally new name for the child.

"Caphie" would be a good name for a girl. (fulll version is "capherine")
"alithon" is also a consideration.
"thuthan" is a nice sounding word.

for a boy i may choose a nice phoenetic sound like "wobbit" or "whichard"

i am sure they would have pride in saying their names at their school assemblies.

who knows.
i think a number tag would be the best form of identification.

I like all names other than:

Biblical names. Seriously? Have you ever worked at a company with 10,000 employees and there were like 100 Johns? Oy!

And common names spelled funny. I knew a "Mykel" (pronounced Michael) once. WTF is that????! !! No, parents, you aren't being cute and unique AT ALL. You are setting up the poor kid for a lifetime of frustration.

My name is not too common and yet it is familiar to people on all continents except Asia. :) That's the way to go.

My name is biblical . Unconventional though, my name is Sion.

I've noticed the most attractive girls I have met/known usually have a name beginning with J or K (with a few exceptions). I always thought Maria was a nice name aswell, quite common these days, but nice nonetheless.
