I asked if you were bitter, before you decided to "ignore me", before responding again. If your time was so precious, you wouldn't have the time to post bitter things about men.

I'd say this applies to both genders depending on individual, people can get more or less stoned in love. At the beginning of falling in love brain produces a lot of phenethylamine (PEA) which is similar in structure and function to amphetamine, a releasing agent of norepinephrine and dopamine. Becoming a PEA-brain helps some individuals to put up with lots of crap from partner, but this phase goes over in 18 months to 4 years. Then next in "attachment" phase the brain produces endorphins (endogenous morphine), which could help keep you going, unless you got too addicted to "love amphetamine"

Of course that is probably over simplification and physiological but probably that PEA plays a role.
