Ah, I got it. So far, actually little interests has sparkled about a such dating site as I propose. Perhaps I should ask in other sites as well.

I would like it if aspie affection worked again, or if there were an equivalent

It does, but isn't very active. A much better site for forums is datehookup.com which is very similar to POF, also free. The forums has a disabled dating section too.

I'm single and looking for a girl so I vote yes. I registered on Aspie Affection but for some reason it won't show my profile pic and is a pain in bum to search for matches.

Not really sure what to say to bump this topic up. From what I have read in this forums, there are a plenty who wanna find partners or at least friends. But I would need something to make this popular.

There is a website called howaboutwe that exists that tries to serve the unction of getting people out on dates, but there is hardly aynybody on it. An active version of that would be awesome.

Put fake profiles of women to lure the men, that what most dating sites do.

It's always hard to start up a new site and takes a while to build up enough members to make it useful. With so many sites already out there, along with so many trying to make a quick buck with new pay sites, it's better to promote existing free sites. I think the best thing for now is to encourage people to use www.autisticdating.net instead of aspie affection and see how that goes. unless you can create one for all kinds of disabilities. That first one charges money to contact anyone. Not sure about about the last one. Autisticdating.net is 100% free.

The problem isn't the websites so much, it would take years to get the site up and running with a member base big enough to find what you're looking for.

Even aspie affection, advertised as the most common dating site for asperger's, there's still hardly anyone in my area or age range. We just don't get out there enough.

Even when we do, most people login once a month.

1401b, I can't decide whether this comment is cute, or a flaming violation of expected dating behavior/chit-chat. But I'm pretty sure it's cute.

I cannot even register on autistic dating (eg. I never got a verification mail) . And I am not a big fan of facebook and you cannot create a custom profile but must use your "public" facebook profile.

I am going to try aspergerworld. That site really looks like something I have seen before.

Edit: Okay, I have tried that site now, it is not very active and very oddly structured.
