Also the fact you have lots of people around you scares me off, because I'd like to have a boyfriend to myself, lol. But that...yes...I'm sure a lot of women think that way but wouldn't dare admit it. Either that, or they would eventually eliminate your social life.

I raised this point earlier but you are the first to state that you think the same way I do.

again, he is looking for an NT girlfriend. Those b*****s love people

The three of you sound over-clingy to....controlling gf material, no offense but I felt suffocated *cougghh* *coughhh* ....just by reading....all this "100% dedication".... and all that talk. *coughh*

if that's an aspie girl thing then no wonder why he would prefer a NT gf.

Also, this condition is supposedly very rare among girls, do you really expect us aspie guys to wait till age 50 waiting and hoping for this special Aspie girl to appear in our life? Duh! We are not immortal.

well the way I see it it is no wonder Aspie men and women find it hard to make friends and date and have relationships. We are not an easy lot to put up with. I appreciate that you imagined your self into a relationship with all three of us enough to start feeling suffocated, that's very flattering. Cheers.

Issues with punctuation, but it seems like a genuine profile. Try taking pictures near natural light or something that doesn't make you look so orange. I think you have a unique appearance. Very smiley in the profile pic. :D

I think I like your WP avatar better than the shot you chose for your dating site profile and might suggest swapping them. Other than that, I think it's a great profile and my only complaint is that you live overseas. :)

Yes, his profile picture on here has much better lighting. :D

Get a room

Update: 2 messages, but not from girls I messaged. The funny thing is 1 of them is someone I know from a meetup group I used to attend. Most of us were single in that group and she used to mail me often before I left it. She's also friends with an ex housemate so there's familiarity. I regret not replying to her last message after I left the group we were in, so maybe this is another opportunity? She had a few questions to ask and cracked a couple of jokes.

As for the other girl, it was a bland "hi how are you" so I think I'll leave it. If I type anything longer than a Twitter message she might go bonkers.

Kinme - yeah the lighting in this room sucks. Most times I look like I've been hitting the tanning booths. The lighting in the WP image is definitely better but I felt the facial expression and posture were too...Aspie, I don't know? It took me forever to get a natural expression on my face on either of those pics. If people meet me in person I have no trouble expressing myself these days but if you put a camera in front of me I just can't "fake" an expression or strike a good pose for it.

Give the second a chance too- you're not some sexy babe who gets 100s of messages.

Yes you're right. They seemed nice enough in their profile. Gonna do that now.

I like it.

In the first paragraph, "in spite of that" might want to start with a capital letter, but it certainly wouldn't make me run for the hills.

This might show how unfamiliar I am with OkCupid, but wtf does "Diet: Mostly other" mean???

You don't seem boring, and that's awesome. Besides, who could dislike someone who likes M83?! :P

Thanks. I tried to do as much as I could with as little words as possible. There's obviously more to me as a person than what's on there and part of the fun of dating is finding out more about each other.

If I've learned anything from making profiles it's..
1) There's no points for perfect spelling, punctuation and grammar. If anything it freaks some people out. A couple of mistakes shows you're human. and...
2) Keep everything short but sweet. Anything over a certain length will be seen as ranting even if it's well written. Sad but true.

Are the women that messages you attractive or at least somewhat attractive? Just curious.

That's very great. I'm now curious to see how your ok Cupid profile would yield results in my zip code. It really seems like the place your from is more easy going for a few reasons.

What does "Diet: Mostly other" mean btw? I'm actually genuinely curious!

Mostly whatever I want :P there didn't seem to be a meat option and it probably would look like an innuendo if I picked it.
A bit like when someone picks their starsign as Cancer and says it's fun to think about! LOL

Lol ok. Reminds me of when Adrian Mole asked for wing meat because he didn't want to have to say breast, leg or thigh!

And yes... oh dear.
