Learn from it. Make sure that you ask sooner next time so you don´t build your hopes up. Thats what I always try to do now after making this mistake more than a few times. Unfortunately, its easier said than done. Even though I try to do this, I just made the mistake of waiting too long again and got crushed. Live and learn, forget about it but remember the lesson, try harder next time, etc, etc, etc....

Leave her. Romance is not important.

I think what she’s getting out of you is friendship. It is very easy to read to much into that. I've done it. Girls do like guy friends. Especially if they not going to try and hit on them when they are not available. If you do have a chance it probably isn't now.

So obviously, the solution is to make it so they aren't a happy couple. Dig up some dirt. Or when that fails, make some up. Nothing beats a good smear campaign!

Cloud. please. I'm the 10% of the male race that is the good guy type that has to deal with the trashy 90% of other males making it hard for us.

Funny, you strike me more as the arrogant and cocky element, especially with statements like that. Oh well, first impressions...

Yes but don't put all you eggs in one basket. Make other friendships if you know how. Don't worry if you don't really know how I didn't untill recently. Anyway I realised is you get infatuated with someone and just focus on them your friendship becomes like a burdon. Like they can notice it somehow.

Yeah, it's like a beacon with sirens going off.

You need to forget about this person.
May sound heartless and i know you won't like it or agree with me.
But i speak from experience and it's thw way of the world.
Focus your attention elsewhere. Let her be privelaged (sp) to enter your world.
You will give her a chance, if you deem her worthwhile.
Look elsewhere, this is your path.
You think if you slept with ten other girls, then you would care about this one?
Maybe. Maybe not.
But if you did, then there is more chance she will come running to you than if you didn't.
If she doesn't come running, then you have had a good time.
If you dont move on, then you sit around crying for X amount of your life.
Use logic my friend.
Work out what X is.

Arrogant and Cocky. wow. haven't been called that in a while. not in a long while.

No. I'm not arrogant and cocky. just a nice guy, who looks out for other nice guys and tries to get them what they deserve.

Your not going to get over it unless you start making other friends/relationships.

ugh i know but i didn't get over the last girl i liked. i waited two years and finally she broke me down enough that i just gave up on trying to e with her. now she is ready to be with me but i like someone else. its not that easy for me to get over someone. what the girls don't understand is how AS works, they know i have it but don't understand it

Dude, I'm in the same boat you're in. Ok, I didn't get asked to the prom or anything, but I have a friend in my 3rd Period class who has a boyfriend.

You say your friend hugs you? You're lucky. My friend doesn't hug me because she might feel uncomfortable. But she really cares about me. She's told me time and time again that, when I'm mad, she's mad that I'm mad. Of couse, I try to give her some space, in order to try to resist the temptation to make her feel uncomfortable. I'm very affectionate towards females, but I know to keep my distance until the time's right.

Secretly, I'm hoping she breaks up with her boyfriend...I'm so selfish... :( ...But I'm waiting until that happens, which could be a while... Plus I'm afraid that, come the end of the semester, I'll never see her again.

There are NO nice people, in the sense that you
are advertising. There are the weak (like me)
and those who act like arrogant cocky jerks.
The latter get the action.

Now and again, with the help of liquid courage,
I can manage being enough of a jerk to impress
people.
