OK! :P I just dont want to give the false impression we males just want sex and want to avoid women when they are on their period either just want to be ther ya know? So they dont get the wrong idea its just sometimes things get complicated and lots of emotions arrise depending on the woman at that time and want her to know we love her and she is beautiful and kind and feeling unclean and such doesn't change that, its a natural thing we males will never experience but hope to provide emotional support whenever it is needed.

This is generally not an event that requires any special treatment considerations by the man, and if it did, she would tell you.

Woman are not that much complicated. If you have a girlfriend, ask her what she would like. I would be insulted to receive wine since I don't drink. There is no ''magical recipe'' you can apply to every situation. You need to communicate.

I just want to be ther for someone when they need me and look beyond biological drawbacks! I want her to know I like her for who she is and for her to like me for me and be there through thick and through thin! I....just want her to be happy!

Otaku! Dude! I've been busy with offline projects and a Netflix addiction so I haven't been around much but I'm happy to see you and I see you are still poking at possums under rocks with pointy sticks. ;-)

As for my period, well I'm menopausal so it's not a regular event but it does happen and trust me, it all gets worse with age.. Right now I would guess the best thing a guy can do for me during my time is to take me to the firing range and put photos of people I hate on the targets and give me unlimited ammo. My ex husband, my son's baby mama, my mother in law, you know, pictures of people like that.

Unless it's just a really bad one and I'm stressed out and then if you can get the real person, a blowtorch, some duct tape, assorted fish hooks and an old rug you no longer want, and maybe a rusty and dull knife and some rock salt as a special treat, then I'll amuse myself not so quietly all day long and you can be totally safe in the other room with a tv, sandwiches and beer.

Whats up with you lately? We had two parties at my house. Christmas and New Years Eve. Both theme parties, both were a great time, and we dressed up in vintage clothing for both. (Victorian and Mad Men 1960's, respectively) We also got a new dog.

Which thing sounds fun? Going to the range or torturing somebody who you really hate? ;-)

As for the range, it is fun. I used to love to shoot, but nowdays I can't see well and would need new glasses and practice to be able to be at all decent again. However, back in the day I went on a date where this guy took me shooting and it was one of the most fun dates I had. You should keep that one in your back pocket for when you are trying to think of something different to do with a girl. Another guy took me exploring caves and that was cool too, and then this other dude who I ended up marrying for a year took me to his house on a Saturday and we spent the day rebuilding a carburator and that was fun too. I always liked those different kinds of things because I was tired of the movies/food/mall/parking/roller skating dates that were the norm back then.

Now though, I don't want to move when it's my time. I remember back when I was young and I hardly thought about it, but it's a big deal to me now and I just feel gross and tired and bloated and do the bare minumum. I know it's the hormonal changes that go along with the change that are making it like that for me now, but I hate it. Also, unlike back in the day, they can go on for two, two and a half weeks at a time. I wish to God I could just get a hysterectomy and get it over it, but they don't do it just for convenience anymore. Another thing about me and my time of the month nowdays is that unlike 10 or 20 years ago when I would just do the normal thing and keep it to myself unless I was talking to my doctor or mother or husband, now if the subject comes up I will talk about my period to anybody and everybody. It's sort of become like a bad knee that hurts when it's going to rain or something in my mind, because you can talk about that to anybody. My sons are used to it but their friends seem to get uncomfortable when they hear something like "Pick all that s**t up right now and throw it away, you do not come over here and mess up my house after I've been cleaning! I've been bleeding like a stuck pig for 8 Goddamn days and passing clots the size of golf balls and I am not in any f*****g mood for a mess of yours right now!"
