How do you get along with people who care about personality?

I haven't really started dating yet, but I'm a bit worried about those people. Mainly because my Aspie traits and health problems ruin my personality.

I still have my looks, but I'm not sure they can hide my crappy personality. I know that a lot of those people are probably saying that to look good to people. It kind of makes me feel hopeless because I have more control over the way I look than my personality.

I'm also only interested in dating girls. I know girls are more into personality than looks. I don't think any girl will like me because of my personality.

I think, you probably have a better personality than you realize. All you need is confidence.

I personally find many of the aspie traits to be quite charming. "Normal" people are definitely over rated.

If you don't feel confident, just pretend like you do. Pretend you are an actor playing a very confident and charming character, and really commit to the role. It might sound silly, but it's what I do and it works wonders. I get hit on all the time now!

You could....always smoke some pot and it will mellow out your personality it works for me anyway at times.

Have you asked anybody out? Has she agreed to a date yet?

If not, you're getting ahead of yourself. even if you have a crappy personality, there are 7 billion people on the planet, more than half female and, statistically, there are surely girls with equally crappy personalities or who are willing to put up with yours.

If you are worrying about it, then your personality is probably not so bad. Those with bad personality are often those who don't realize it.

I care about personality & so does my girlfriend. I didn't think I had a great personality cuz I've been criticized alot but me & my girlfriend's personality mesh together really well. She doesn't mind lots of things others did.
