Is it worth to start dating?

Is there a particular type of person you are searching for in order to start dating?

Someone kind caring understanding doesn't care about money or that I don't have a nice car likes anime music and movies likes to cuddle that is my ideal date

It depends on how you feel and what you want. Also, what you're willing to do for it. Are you willing to have a few potentially crappy relationships for a good one? The bad ones can be viewed as learning experiences with the right attitude.

For myself, I don't think it's worth it. I'm very picky and not subject to change on some things that would be major deal breakers in most relationships. Plus ever since I was a teen, I always felt like it was just too much work. I haven't changed.

...And ironically you are the type of person I would date, if I dated.

Only you can truly make that determination. Everyone has different experiences with dating or trying to date, with various different backgrounds, wants and needs, intimacy, etc. There's not enough information to go on with what you are searching and what your intentions are with dating.

With the exception of cuddling, I think you have described a friend and not a girlfriend or potential life partner.

If you were looking for a girlfriend or life partner, you might want to add personality, political affiliation, life goals and values.

Anyway perhaps you would find someone at an Anime expo or cosplay event.

What I would look for in a girl I am dating is someone who is patient, caring, settled down, very kind, down-to-earth, forgiving, optimistic, creative, mature, goal-oriented, gentle, honest, and cheerful. I wouldn't care much for weight, because I have some very beautiful looking women who are a bit overweight, like some of the girls close to my age in college. Beauty isn't found in weight.

Is it worth it to do anything? Who can say.

There are a lot of pros and cons that come with a relationship I think it's how we get past the cons that make a relationship worth while
