Humble is good, too.

I chose curious, intelligent, humble, empathetic, and philosophical. But my priorities would also include kind, thoughtful, and compassionate.

Agreeable because agreeable people tend to be polite and friendly which makes them easy to befriend.

Loyal because loyalty is important in a relationship. They're more likely to stick around during hard times and not jump ship if something better comes along.

Empathetic: People who are empathetic are more likely to try and understand your problems and they tend to be more selfless.

Mellow: Someone who is too high strung would make you feel like you're always walking on eggshells so someone who is more mellow, they would be easier to get along with.

Musically talented: because this aligns with my interests of also being a music player.

0. The most important quality to me is not listed on here: Comfortable. Lots of people seem to like tension in their relationships. Not me. The world makes me uncomfortable. I need a relationship where I feel absolutely comfortable with them. No walls, no masks.

1. Intelligent: I'm an intellectual and love Intelligent conversation. I do not suffer fools gladly.

2. Enthusiasm: I think this is the biggest attractor for me, but I put it second because enthusiastic ignorance is...bad.

3. Empathy/Compassion: I'm passionate but not compassionate. This has resulted in me being attracted to those who are compassionate, who have that particular quality I lack.

4. Self-confidence: Originally, I was drawn to self-confident women because they were the only ones who might not demand Self-confidence from me. My self-confidence has gotten better but I'm still drawn to it because they're uncommon and seem more likely to want a relationship that is a partnership.

It's the 21st century yet there are still a distressing number of women who want the man to be a bold, assertive Type A who is dominant in the relationship. They explicitly don't want a partnership of equals.

5. Curious: Someone interested in learning new things, more likely to ask questions when I might not, someone who will help me get out of my shell more and try some new things. Someone who loves to learn.

Honorable Mention: Humorous, in the sense that we have compatible senses of humor.

I'll add a few honorable mentions that weren't listed in this poll. The 5 I voted for were the only 1s listed I really liked
Very affectionate with romantic partners
Needy & clingy with romantic partners
Ditzy
Sensitive
Is a major outsider or relates to one of these cultural groups~ Dork, EMO, Goth, Punk, Hippy, or Anarchist

Curious
Agreeable
Empathetic
Self-Confident
Mellow

I really wanted to pick Humorous too, but didn't want to let go of any of the other 5.

I also decided that curiosity was more important to me than intelligence. I think it's one thing being intelligent and another to be able to show genuine interest and desire to learn, which is sort of how I think of curiosity.

Agreeableness was something I hadn't really thought about, or what it even meant in practice, until I saw a recent YouTube video that talked about it. I'll link it below, rather than embedding it in the post. She talks about what agreeableness is between the 1 minute and 3 minute mark roughly, and essentially describes it as the opposite of antagonism. Anyway, I liked her explanation and I think agreeableness is something that's important to me, personally.

And I guess the rest are straight forward.

That's cool. I would be very difficult for me to think of all the likely typical options for this kind of poll.

I chose curious, humorous, intelligent, loyal, and mellow. For me, curious and intelligent often go hand in hand as I love it when people get into things and get all excited about it and share those things with me. I'm one of those people who love it when people monologue at me... I sit there like, oh my god, yes, please tell me more. If someone can't make me laugh, I get bored, and since I can be somewhat goofy, a good sense of humor is a win on multiple levels for me. Loyal is a must as I can't stand cheaters. Mellow is ideal since I can get a bit tense when people around me get tense and no good comes from that.

I'm confused by these.

Why do you actively want someone who is ditzy or needy/clingy?

There's very little overlap between dorks/nerds/geeks and hippies, or between either of those and goth/punk/emo/anarchist. Are you just looking for any outsider culture to belong to?
