Yes, I usually notice my surroundings first, especially if anything has changed! What'cha want to do after dinner?

I just feel like taking a walk on the beach. Watching the waves.

It's a slight Tempest out there. I'm glad that Nature isn't like people; there's a consistency to what the water does.

Or....if you'd like to dance with abandon, I would follow suit. Enjoying the scent of your sensuous hair.

Well, I always know where my towel is, and I probably have two...so we can walk in the tempest..or dance in it, for that matter! I agree. I do not think there is anything water does that I do not appreciate. Although I will admit to preferring water when the temperature is warm, for comfort. Ice and snow are really beautiful, though.

The Scene of the Tempest, I sense, is fine Artistic fodder for you.

Do you usually imagine scenes.....or do you paint what's in front of you?

Well, I have the Aspie literalism in spades and, while I can do imagination (obviously...here in the bar) usually even my fantasy scenes are based on things I have seen in reality somewhere.

When you speak of the Tempest, do you refer to Shakespeare? We have Shakespeare in Central park here in Louisville, which I love! It would be far better if I had a companion but, it is still great. You can take a blanket, and a picnic too, if you wish. Some people get crazy and bring little tables and bottles of wine and the whole deal. It is quite lovely.

I confess: I've never read "The Tempest."

I mean.....the sea, when there is wind, is a cauldron, a tempestuous cauldron. It means no harm....but you have to be careful.

But the crashes of the waves on rocks, the whirlpools, the constant little tsunamis, are pleasing to the eye. A spectacle, indeed!

Oh, no worries! I agree, storms are marvelous!! That is the thing about nature, it has no intention, malicious or otherwise. That does not mean, however, that it is harmless. One must be respectful of the power the storm can wield. I suspect that this is probably the safest bar anywhere, though. Even being right on the beach, it is clear that it has been carefully engineered to be secure. Nice big (ballistics glass) windows give us a front row seat, too. Let's cuddle up in the booth and get some hot tea and popcorn! :D

Has it been your turn to get called away, or go to bed now? I will be here for about another 20 to 30 minutes, just in case. I will leave the light on for you!

Did you enjoy your meal?

I sense that you did. Your eyes communicate quite well...shy, yet demonstrative.

What would be your pleasure music-wise?

My pleasure would be: "Sincerely," by the Moonglows.

How do you feel about street-corner harmony?

Ah! You are back, fantastic. I think we have time for one dance before I must rest for the night. You choose the song, since you have been so gracious with my Weird Al albums this evening. I will say that while I enjoy the humor a great deal, it does not lend itself to slow dancing! I did enjoy the meal, thank you. Let us enjoy the "last call"

Escapism at its best: weird Al!

His videos are great, too. Very evocative.

The Waves are calling us; they desire our presence so that they could discern what we are thinking...for there is much transcendence in your thoughts.

Would you like an escort to your abode?

I would, thank you. I have come to look forward to these walks very much. The sand is still damp, which feels fantastic. The air smells so clean, and the waves are an interesting purple color after the storm. We can wrap the blanket around our shoulders if we get chilly along the way. I will bid you goodnight, for I am drifting off....

I enjoy your head on my shoulders as we walk. It is a "Shane Keppler" (my take on the Yiddish for "pretty head."

Your eyes are hidden from me....but I can speculate as to what they would express should they be open. I feel your head rub me gently, and your fragrant hair stroke me...I stroke your soft, clean hair as well.

We have arrived at your abode. I place you, my Sleepy Head, upon your outdoor bed, then depart towards my own.

I hope you sleep with soothing dreams, so that tomorrow is mellow.

Hope to see you tomorrow at our usual spot.

Good evening, bartender! Am I the first to arrive? Well, then. What is today's chef's special? Seriously, shrimp etouffee? I'll have a dish of that, please, and a glass of Merlot too. (Plays some classic Huey Lewis and the News on the jukebox)

Heart of Rock and Roll! Emimently danceable.

I like much of Cajun, New Orleans cooking.

Do you like the synthesizer stuff like "Tainted Love?"
