Can you teach me how to dance to it? I would like some human contact. Weird, I know, on at least two obvious levels...but pretend with me. We can dance over to the bar and refresh our drinks, too. I know I will have to go in a short time so let's forget all talk of work and talk about nothing instead. Sweet nothing is okay, though.

I shall whisper "Sweet Nothings" into your pretty ears

We can a slow Lindy-Hop type dance....and I can dip you--your hair flowing down invitingly.

Then I raise you up smoothly...and we walk to the bar to replenish our drinks.

How about a Daiquiri?

Indeed, I will take it for the road, or rather, the beach. You'll forgive me if I do have to put my hair back up. While it can be nice to have it down for dancing, it does really bug me, especially now that it reaches the small of my back. Very tickle-y. eek. How about a frozen peach daiquiri? Then, let us dance cheek-to-cheek all the way to the door. How is the weather outside?

The weather is gorgeous. With a moderate breeze, so we can watch the Waves as we walk towards your Abode.

The stars are absolutely blazing....even though there's a few scattered clouds in the sky.

You look lovely with your bun, by the way.....and your Teacherly Features are quite evocative, and offer much fodder for my imagination.

Well, I am glad on both accounts, weather and that you are attracted to the "teacher type." The cool night air is quite soothing. If you will allow me to take your arm, we will make our way. There is just enough light between the lights of the bar, growing ever distant, and my porch light, glowing just within sight. In between there is the reflection of the moon on the waves. I feel the effect of the daiquiri now...so I shall sleep well until the blasted alarm blares at me in the morning. With luck, I shall stumble into the bar tomorrow evening as well. I do hope your considerate, romantic self will be there to greet me, or will perhaps arrive in due course..Goodnight. I hope you arrive home this evening without too much difficulty, and that the heat has abated to ease your way.

The memory of your Scent will ease my way toward my Abode.

We have arrived.....and I bid you goodnight. I kiss three fingers of your hand, which you offered me daintily and shyly.

Your bed is waiting for your weary yet contented body to lie upon it. Your pillows are anticipating your arrival, too. They fluff up, prepared to embrace your head.

'Tis a lovely evening....and I am glad to have the Waves as my companion as I make my way home....and memories of your Presence tonight.

I have arrived in our Bar....and will order a drink from the bartender who is chilling out watching the ballgame. He doesn't mind, since I'm the only one here.

I have the Times puzzle laid out, and I'm ready to go! In actuality, I should have bought last Sunday's puzzle--as Tuesdays frequently are rather easy, and only last me about 15 minutes or so.

I am thinking, also, about the Scent of My Lady. There is a great profusion of thoughts of My Lady....many of these thoughts having to do with those Subtle Beckoning Eyes.

There's a considerable amount of sea spray to enjoy now----visually and tactilely. It's rather breezy right now. Gusts of up to 20 knots. The bar has a vent which allows the breeze to be the air-conditioning for the place.

Ahhh. Salty, breezy air! Hi Kraftie! 'So nice to see you after a long day. I see you brought the geek catnip (crossword puzzle) I cannot hide my excitement at this...word puzzles are such an addiction. How great that you like them, too. Are you drinking your usual? The beckoning eyes (brown with gold flecks) scan the bar for any subtle alterations.

LOL....I'm a bad Aspie in the sense that I can't usually tell when something's changed in a subtle way.

But...come to think of it....the hue of Purple on the jukebox seems to have gotten a big darker.

I'm glad you have arrived; the quality of the place has increased tenfold owing to your Presence.

Please....sit across from me, or by me. Are you hungry?

I am rather in the mood for Paella tonight. I feel like having Spanish sausage with it, in addition to the seafood.

Would you like to share a large bowl with me? It's really good here! I should have recommended it to you already.

I would assume that you would want red wine with that as well. I'm having my usual Cherry Grenadine, though it's carbonated this time.

(Takes booth seat across table) You are not a bad Aspie! It is funny you say that...while stereotypes abound, we are all different. Subtle changes just stand out to me, but I can do some things we supposedly "can't do" and I bet you can, too! The downside sometimes is when someone says..."Wait, you can do this, but not this other thing?!?"I hate that. Like being able to chase after the mailman means you should also be able to run the 100 meters in the Olympics.

I will share with you, yes, thank you. I do not think I could eat an entire order of the Paella. I will just have green tea, but thank you.
You look really nice this evening, by the way. Have I seen that shirt before? It has a nice fabric texture.

It's a very comfortable shirt. It's the shirt members of the golf PGA Tour wear then they're out on the course.

I'm a very decent fan of golf, by the way. I used to watch it somewhat obsessively in the 1990s. It used to relax me, and put me into a pleasant sleep.

The chef has prepared enough Paella....that we can probably both take home some :D

Speaking of golf: When I was 12, I used to watch golf with my father. They used to play this song right before a commercial break: "Love's Theme," by Barry White and the Love Unlimited Orchestra.

We can save it until you've finished your meal. For I can see your appetite is whetted and enhanced tonight--for you've had a rough day, and need nourishment.

Can someone fix me a spiked Shirley Temple, please?

Make it a double. I keep getting logged out constantly and the site is taking a really long time. Very stressful.

Ahem. That is rather perceptive of you. Well, I will admit to knowing little about golf beyond the obvious, but the physics of it are very interesting. Do you suppose the players are considering the properties of the clubs, the wind speed, the humidity, the pitch and roll of the land, and other factors while they play, or do you think it is instinctive, somehow? I have only ever played miniature golf! I would like to hear the song, though.

Hello Nurseangela. Our bartender is awesome, I am sure you can get one of those! Do you want to order food, as well?
