Yes, I was going to say this too. People often type LOL because they realize that the person was trying to tell a joke or be funny, so the appropriate polite response is to type out LOL. As you weren't actually speaking with her, you have no idea whether she was actually laughing or not or even found the jokes amusing for that matter.
When the time came to be serious, and she said she preferred to meet in person, you threw out another joke, which made no sense in context of the comment.
So no, of course she was not offended by peanut butter. My sense is that she possibly had already decided BEFORE the peanut butter comment that she was not going to meet you at all because she had already decided you two were not a good fit.
Which is fine, her response may not have been completely appropriate - so you dodged a bullet then and haven't lost anything. Move along and work on meeting someone with whom you do have a connection.
