A soul mate isn't someone who makes you just feel dizzy attraction. It's someone you can talk to and feel understood. You can talk to them and not feel judged. You can tell them things you can't tell anyone else. And they don't recoil in horror at your quirkiness, rather, they want to know you more.

I've always seen it as being about personalities rather than physical attraction.

I don't care if "endorphins" or whatever neurotransmitter cause me to "feel" love.

I believe in "soulmates" wholeheartedly. That's what I believe in.

And that's that.

Just like I know there are wolves in some forests.

I'm tempted to steal that and put it in a song.

I need the money LOL.....may I get some of the royalties?

Seriously......Go ahead, use it. I won't even ask for the money, should you get it published and get a hit from it.

To me, the concept of "soulmates" has nothing to do with science, or chemicals, or love. I have many soulmates where we share absolutely no romantic feelings.

That is not to say that they are mutually exclusive, however.

Soulmates exist...and you can have more than one.

I don't believe in soulmates, and I don't believe in love either.

Yes. It was real out of this world exp. but then I met him irl and I was shocked at his physical appearance. Covered in boils. I m not joking. He had only a few years to live. Cancer. So we ended up being just friends. He wanted to get married but I said no as I had no such feelings for him. So he stopped talking to me. I don’t know where’s he’s at or what he’s doing now

How the heck is that supposed to be a soulmate story?

A “Soulmates” story is supposed to be of lovers madly love each other no matter what; and not a story of someone friendzoning and rejecting the other.

This story is not one.

Well I was actually not in love. You can have a friend that’s a soulmate.

But the reason I say soulmate is coz he has the exact same mind. His view of the world. What he wanted to do. His interests. I did not believe in soulmates up until I met him online. It was like talking to myself. Which of course was interesting but it soon got boring as there was nothing different than me mind. You know what I mean? Have I had any experiences like that after? - no! Nothing close to that guy.

love exists. and i don't really care if it's "just chemicals" or whatever, EVERYTHING is chemicals, it feels good, and that's all that matters to me.
