Isn't that also true for someone like myself or ironpony? It's not as though some men with ASD have smaller fields of competitors than others.

Not necessarily.

You could have things going for you I don't. You might be exceptionally tall or handsome. You might have a good career or financial security. You could be an exceptionally talented artist or musician. And perhaps your social skills are much better than mine.

I remember watching the documentary about Tony Atwood. He talked about his step-father being autistic. He had a lucrative engineering career and was exceptionally tall and handsome.

Oh thanks. But I think most of the time, they have only liked me for sex though. I was told I was goodlooking which may make this the case, as a lot of women have probably though, well I can't date this guy because he is socially inept, but I'll still sleep with him for a bit, etc.

So most of the time, I think that has been the case. Not that that's totally bad though, because if I want sex, I will use that to my advantage while single. However, my current gf is also autistic and I think that is why it has worked out easier, relationship wise, or a woman wanting me beyond sex.

But it was pointed out that it can be like a blind person with a blind person, so I guess there is a chance of that as well.

good looks indicate superior genes so that is what women are keying into. but so does high social status even if one looks like a fireplug. having both looks and status [like rock stars] makes many women literally throw themselves at such lucky demigods.

That makes sense. I definitely do not have the status though, so I think they are going for the looks more.

Oh but what advantage does that have, or why would other autistic guys not have as much?

That could be it, I don't have status or wealth or social skills but I'm not terrible looking so women will become casually interested sometimes, so long as I notice.

Can guys who are not goodlooking go for not goodlooking women though too? For example there is a woman I know who always talks about if she weren't so ugly looking that guys would want her. If there are women out there, who are like this, could guys who are not goodlooking go for them hopefully, and vice versa?

some men have naturally low levels of testosterone. T can also be beaten down in people who have been sytematically shunned or bullied much. T is what enables socially intelligent men to pursue women [or other guys] in the first place, it is the fight or fkkk hormone. if you are low in it, you won't be able to do either one effectively. i have to use supplements/T patch to be able to function as my natural T tests pretty low. and sexual attractiveness [aside from model good looks] is necessary for either gender to have any luck with the same or opposite gender. little willy won't grow up to be big william [and in women the wetness won't happen] unless the attraction is there. that is just how men and women are wired.

i hope you were a gentleman and reassured this lady that she indeed is not ugly.

informally judge your levels by how often you get sexually excited and how easily you orgasm. low t means that even if you can get it up, you won't be able to orgasm very well if at all. that was my situation until i supplemented.

Oh okay. I guess I feel about average there too, but do a lot of autistic guys have a problem with this, when it comes to women, low testosterone, or is this a completely different issue?

all i know is that i suspect strongly that i was deficient all my life until i got recently checked. i read a few weeks ago that the incidence of low t and micropenis is higher in men on the autism spectrum and that it has prenatal origins.
