i acctually think we get nicer as we mature were like cheese! but i try to avoid all that drama to the best of my ability

lol I prefer young cheese. and you can say what you want but the real drama (with girls) starts when they are 11-12 and ends when they are 14-15. (my sister is 10 now <gulp>)

I am a 30 year old divorced female scientist (no children but want some soon), looking for a male of about my own age or perhaps a bit older. The problem is that I am in Nice, France and this summer will probably be moving to Dresden, Germany, both places which seem to be rather short in WP members! I dont think Im bad looking - some people I know well have mentioned the word beautiful, but the majority dont seem to notice. Short, slim, intelligent, but quite shy and not at all fashionable except when cord trousers are in fashion .

My interests are hiking and camping in the mountains (anyone for the GR20 this summer?), Music (very divergent from classical, to jazz, to rock and playing three instruments, all quite badly), Learning languages (well I speak french and german is next on the list but I also have yearnings for Corsican, Welsh and Gaelic - especially the former), Philosophy (I am doing online courses with the University of Oxford), Cooking, (although since living alone I am doing less of it) and Gardening (I love plants).

I am looking for someone who is first of all more confident than I am (so hopefully a bit will rub off on me), with a quirky sense of humour to match my own and tall and slim if possible. I also like people to be passionate about their interests, particularly if they are cultural or coincide nicely with my own.

I enjoy playing/watching football (soccer to you non-brits) & doing 'extreme' sports like rock-climbing, canoeing, water skiing, etc. although havn't done them for a while.
At home I much prefer reading and listening to music to watching TV (I don't even watch any regular programme other than Man United matches). My music taste is quite varied, encapsulating rock, metal, hip-hop, dance, jazz and more, I tend to stay away from (manufactured) pop but if a songs good...

I enjoy going out and socializing alot, although I suffer quite bad with social anxiety, often even with people I know well (old friends/family) if I've not seen them in a while, which can make it difficult, but once I'm comfortable with the people with me (or suitably intoxicated ) I come out of my shell and can often make people laugh.

I also enjoy quiet cozy nights either at home or maybe in a nice bar just talking, I'm told I'm a good listener and can give (often) good advice in many situations.

The name is Dark. No, no, seriously, I'm not that into books, but if I think of anymore quotes, I'll need to have a work cited page. But my name's Sam (as in, "Samuel," not "Samantha"), I'm 18, strange, funny, strange, strange, wild, exciting, adventurous, and all around good guy! A photo'll prove that. I draw on my computer, I play my keyboards--I still have tons of them--but I'm not in any bands, I teach computer game design classes, and I go to a university for fun. I cut down trees, I skip and jump, I like to press wildflowers. I put on women's clothing and hang around in bars. See I know Monty Python, too.

Getting away from cross-dressing, I'm hoping somebody can pick a great assortment of university classes for me. It isn't that I can't; more, I just don't want to. Out of 100s of classes, none of them jump out at me. At least this way I can tell you how bad your choices were lol. I'm looking at history classes right now, but most of the classes that I want to take aren't being offered, unfortunately. I live in Arizona--if you look on a map, it'd take you a pretty long time to swim here from england, but you could definitely do it--so it's pretty nice outside during the winter. I prefer hotter nights than these have been, but at least it isn't snowing again like it did last year!

One word that describes me is airhead--formed from two words, but compounded into 1!--but I'm guessing almost nobody else would call me that. If somebody did, she's jealous--men know my rugged masculinity too well to think of me as an airhead, although they probably should lol--or I'm acting for her. Acting like that I know is a pretty bad thing to do, but I apparently I still do it.

If you were to be more interested in talking to me than to just help me with picking classes, then I'm still here for you! Please be somewhere around 18 or maybe going to a university or college, being referenced as "she" or "her" definitely helps--sorry, but I can only handle so much rugged masculinity! Rugged femininity is great, or graceful femininity, or any femininity. What I'm getting at is that I'm not interested in men--and I'm not too concerned about countries or continents. It'll be great if you love in arizona, but I really doubt that you do, so 1,000 miles is only 1 0 away from being 10,000. I've been around the world so I know what thousands of miles are like!

I get a bunch of jumbled up thoughts in my head, so here's some random crap: I like turtles. I started liking them last year. I was in class and I was thinking of the letter T. So I was like "T......TURTLE." All of a sudden I wanted one and that is the story of how I became interested in turtles. I'm in college but I really have no idea what I'm doing there. I've never had a job, but hopefully one day soon....I have a fish. I don't like fish much anymore. I've considered putting it in the tank with turtle to see if he would eat it but that seems kind of cruel since I've kind of started to bond with this fish.
