I was lucky to have the closest relationship I've ever had with a girl when I was in University. We got along great and I wouldn't be surprised if people mistook us for a couple when they saw us together.

She is the only girl I've known for which I can say, without any doubt, I was in love with. I so desperately wanted to tell her my feelings, but she was always in a relationship with someone else, so I never had a chance.

It is very ironic that the final thing we did together was essentially a date -- she took me for dinner, at a bar on campus, to celebrate my recent birthday. She finished a semester before me and during her last semester I only saw her in passing in the hall, since our schedules didn't match up (I had a class during her free time).

I haven't really talked to her since she finished. She did try to reconnect briefly, but I was unavailable that week. She then left to do her postgrad in Australia and that was that.

I miss her so much. We had a level of connection I never had with anyone else and I wish I at least told her that I loved her. There's still a chance that we may one day reconnect (she is still on my Facebook), but after not really talking to her for nearly two years, I'm not giving my hopes up.

With his arms wrapped around me on the beach and his hot breath at my ear as we watched the blackness of the Gulf waters at night, leaning back against him in his business suit while I went barefoot in my denim skirt and white t-shirt, the cool sand in my toes. We sat there for a couple hours but in my memory it's forever. I miss being with that guy and I miss being that girl.

Indeed, I do. As I look things over, I think perhaps the difficulties of interacting with NT's make us more prone to failed relationships; add to that the crushing loneliness resulting from our alienation, and you have a recipe for nice cocktail of regret and nostalgia, to be sipped for many an evening.

Yes. I miss someone so incredibly much. 'Depressed' doesn't even come close to describing it.

Four years ago I actually met the only man I think I'll ever love for the rest of my life. He not only accepts me for who I am, but he loves things about me that irritate everyone else I know. The things about me I consider nerdy, he treasures. When I am worrying about a problem, he knows exactly what to say to put me at ease instantly. I have never cared for anyone like I have for him.

We've been dating for one and a half years now, and for the next year... he's living in another country on the other side of the globe. =_=

Yes. I miss someone.

I miss my mom, so much, as is the case all the time. She passed away almost exactly a year ago. The heart was extra heavy yesterday it being Mother's Day. We were very close.

Yes, but there are too many to name, so i will just name one.

One in particular comes to mind: Carleen. A short, brownhaired, very slightly overweight, but still a knockout. We had a friendship back in 2002 that i "mis-read" to be something more. She STILL haunts me in my dreams, but the alarm clock goes off mere seconds before things get beyond PG. I guess, never having "seen anything" (on anyone), my brain has no point of reference, and aborts the dream just before it gets good.

Yes, one of my exes, I have great difficulty getting over the break-up because of the way it went and because she was beautiful in every way.

Yes I do. A female acquaintance/crush who I use to see occasionally in school a few years back.
