Oh relax. We may have our disagreements but I doubt that would happen. At least 55% Friend is still above 50% and 36% Enemy is very low.

It's an interesting algorithm they use. I'm still retaking and taking questions to bring my 2 deal-killer traits down: my conservative and messy tendencies down to earth.

I'm more of a fiscal conservative and a social moderate if you ask me. I don't associate with Sarah Palin or Rush Limbaugh.

we should start a whole other "OKCupid" thread to get more people in on the fun of comparisons.

my husband answered more questions and we managed a 91% match. we always wanted to try this, like that cheesy song about meeting up with your same old mate in the personal ads ("if you like pina coladas, and getting caught in the rain. if you're not into yoga, if you have half-a-brain. if you like making love at midnight, in the dunes of the cape. then i'm the love that you've looked for, write to me and escape.").

(it also occurred to me that i sounded mean earlier in the thread when i mentioned having an awkward conversation with someone on IM on the OKCupid site. i wsn't saying the person was awkward, or that they had bad verbal skills. it was just that the situation was awkward as i was not seeking a mate at all.)

(but then i remember the reality of living with someone for 20 years - it's quite likely we became more similar in our personalities and ideologies over time. perhaps great pairings evolve over time and don't spring out fully formed at the gates!)
