I just finished a conference call to the folks back east. Actually, I wanted to finish it right after someone said, "That's something your father would say".

That was bad enough, but when someone else jumped in and declared, "Yeah; you're just like your father!" I couldn't help but come back with, "So you're saying that I'm a bullying, bigoted alcoholic, aren't you?"

THAT is when I hung up.

I hate being compared to my father - to me, the only more epic turn-off would involve being simultaneously defecated on, urinated on, and vomited on by a smoker.

I have mostly artsy interests and I watch animated sitcoms, but it seems like all the women who have those interests are the same ones who have "conservatives" and "theists" as turn-offs.

On the other hand, nearly all the conservatives and theists don't qualify because of the "saving themselves until marriage and only willing to do Missionary" turn-off.

You seriously need to look in Louisiana. Lots of people here are very hard-core conservative & lots of my generation love adult cartoons like Family Guy & South Park. They also really love sex.

Displaying filthy behavior in public. Not including how loud they burp. Spitting in the parking lot, blowing snot without a tissue onto the sidewalk, throwing trash out of the car window, litering, etc. unattractive behavior.

A sexualy insecure person who believes that it's rightious to never hug, kiss, or feel any form of actual attraction till after the wedding. Good luck with that after you get therapy.

I never did understand the duckface phenomenon. It doesn't even look funny or cute but that's just my opinion.

As for turnoffs, here's one. I don't even...

8O Now why don't you like the accents of two highly cultured cities?

Is that sarcasm? I have no idea, but I assume it is, as you mentioned Glasgow as being highly cultured. :P
A major turn-off of mine, on a completely different note, is gossip. If a woman gossips, I automatically assume I can trust her with nothing.

Because the Scouse accent can often sound like whinging. Some Scouse accents aren't like that though.

Well when most wools and plazzies do a jarg scouse accent its basely whining. Now some high pitched female scouse accents are also whinging to the level that canines can understand them.

@HisDivineMajesty am not being sarcy la!
