Worst decision - okcupid
Of course not. That's what the "eye-contact" game is meant to be used for.
Which is only the hardest part for an ND who's trying to date...
1) why does it have to be a game? and
2) eye contact? that sh*t hurts like crap
You're the same age as my middle kid, so I've been dealing with relationships for a while. Here's the best advice I can give you:
1. 23 is not over the hill. You have a lot of time to build a love relationship with someone in the future. And, yes, I know it feels like it will never happen. I've been there. But a lack of patience leads to appearing desperate. Appearing desperate runs people off, and so works against you.
2. While you are working on your patience, spend that time working on your favorite hobbies. Absolutely do join clubs associated with them. It is not only a great way to indulge in something you enjoy, but also a great way to meet other people who also enjoy those hobbies--including those of the opposite gender who might like to get to know you better, especially since they already know you have an interest in common.
3. When you do meet someone, remember that it is very, very, VERY easy to turn on "boyfriend behavior" and be marvelously charming and fabulously delightful in small doses--and then go home and detox. But when the relationship progresses to living together, or to marriage, it is much harder. Start as you mean to go on, or she will wind up feeling manipulated and used, despite the fact that it is not your intent, and the relationship will fizzle out, at best, or implode.
4. It's worth saying again. Be patient.
I don't know how much I've helped, but I do wish you luck in finding the perfect lady. There are a few good ones out there still, I'm sure!

Have six sets of friends who married folks they met online 10+ years ago; one friend who married her online BF of 3.5 yrs two months ago and I met my current BF on okc. It can and does work... for some people.
There's no one right way to date. If online's not for you, try other ways!
I went on okcupid, I talked to this one guy , I thought he really liked me, we talked ALOT, one day, he disappeared, probably find a very beautiful woman to talk to. He did asked me to meet, we live in the same town. It really seems like when you talking to a guy, they can leave you without saying goodbye when another woman talks to him. I'm tired of blaming myself, I thought I wasn't pretty enough. I do want a boyfriend, but I don't know if I'm really ready to get one.
Typical black swan fallacy right there. I actually *do* know of married couples who met on dating sites. There are LOTS of ways to find partners! You just have to figure out what works for you. And keep in mind that what worked for someone else may or may NOT work for you because you're not them.
I've noticed most of the girls on okcupid have super high standards. If you don't have a car and aren't upper middle class, you have a hard time on that site, if you're a guy. I think a lot of girls just get on there to try and find a guy that they can hook up with and have an easy life. I think that's the case more than wanting to meet someone who you actually care about and who cares about you. So, if you're a college student and a guy, I wouldn't even bother with it. You're better off joining a site where people just got to find people to have sex with, like fetlife. That is until you meet someone in person.
Communicating as a prelude to meeting is what online dating's all about. Just cuz you exchanged a few messages or spoke doesn't mean anything besides that you communicated a bit. While it's rude not respond to you accepting his invite to meet , meh, move right along. One bad experience doesn't mean all men on dating sites are rude and awful, that you're not pretty enough or anything besides that dude wasn't a good match.
Keep trying if you think you might meet someone!
Do the girls you speak of have upper middle class lives themselves (degrees, good jobs, etc)? If yes, the expectation that their partners should have the same isn't unreasonable. If no, at least they're honest (want easy life) and you know exactly which girls to avoid!
If you wanna hookup on okc or POF (only sites I've ever used), they've got "casual sex" or "no commitment" options... and the girls who have selected them are likely receptive to advances for that kind of thing.
That's not my experience. Even extremely shy girls (and probably guys too) will engage in looking at somebody they like at a distance. Some of them may use stims instead of looks, so paying attention to that will be a good idea. Also note that the eye contact thing must be done at a distance where you aren't in a social situation or talking. It has nothing to do with having eye contact with somebody you talk to (NT stuff), so in order not to mix those up it's necessary to do it when this is not a factor.
The eye contact game is hardly compatible with dating, so I wouldn't expect that outcome. Although I agree that it seldom led anywhere, but that probably mostly was due to me not understanding the whole process.

The majority in general. Most of the girls I've talked to still live with their parents, but have high expectation. I do not Prefer a hook up, I rather have a relationship; however in the area in which I live hookups are way easier to get. I am not immune to sexual frustration.
However, I beg to differ on when really little kids say stuff (little enough not have been taught not to look at a person with a disability and never, ever to ask an honest question about one) - it's usually done without malicious intent. My dad's blind, little kids regularly walk up to him and say "why do you have a stick?" and "he's like the little blind mouse!" -- he says "yep, I'm blind" and "born blind" and it's no big deal. A dear friend was born with only one arm (the other ends at the elbow) and her kid's toddler friends regularly, brazenly walk up to her and say "you have one arm" (response: yep!), what happened to your arm?" (nothing, born just like this), "why don't you get a fake hand / hook like the captain?" (heavy and annoying), etc. and they accept it and move on, says they have she's since she was little.
No. They were not just curious. They also did nasty things like throw rocks at kids who look different. Third graders did this. The only reason adults don't bully is because they are socialized to know it is unacceptable. They still think the same way underneath. They just don't show it a brazenly as kids. The vast majority of humanity is s**t. Genetically they are s**t. They are programmed to be s**t because they are monkeys. They don't think for themselves. They are incapable. They follow the herd. The vast majority of Germany supported the Nazi's. Hitler probably had a cute face as a child, while he tortured animals. Little kids are not innocent. f**k the human race.
Let's not drag Hitler into this.
People can think anything they like, there's no issue until their thoughts impact their actions .
Adults are better at behaving in a civilized manner than kids. Duh. Because parents spend two decades civilizing them [i] and it mostly [i] works .
If you really, truly believe the vast majority of humanity is evil, then, well, spend less time with people and raging about people.

My first gf was exceedingly shy and introverted and she did not make eye contact with strangers in public, particularly men. I have another very shy, timid female friend who is also that way. Sometimes NT women avoid direct gaze with a male stranger they're attracted to. And FYI my first gf had a lot of autistic traits but she never engaged in stimming behavior. She did however, give eye contact when we were alone together as does my friend.
Quite often, the nonverbal cues given out by said women are just too subtle for me to notice. I have to actually meet them or talk to them by happenstance.
OK, here's where you went wrong: He asked you meet him and did you accept his invitation? The purpose of a site like that is to meet up IRL and not be online penpals. You should have followed up and made arrangements to go on an actual date. He disappeared because he likely found someone willing to meet him in person and thought you were just leading him on. If you really don't have the nerve to take an online correspondence offline, then dating sites are not for you.
Fetlife isn't really that much of a hookup site. It's mainly a site for *sex nerds* to discuss fetishism, sexual deviance and compare notes.
Now when it comes to women looking for a serious relationship, it shouldn't come as a surprise that they expect you to have your s**t together and be financially stable. They are, and they're not looking to support a guy who isn't. They are plenty of college girls on okcupid and POF that would be open to meeting a male college student in the same situation so if that's you then just state it openly and stop chasing after professional women.
Sites like OKC are stand-ins for the first "i saw you at the bar" stage of dating, you should take things offline after not too long, that is the whole point of those sites: find someone to meet offline.
Fetlife (and its ilk) are not such sites, this one in particular is more akin to facebook: a place where you discuss and make plans with people *you already know*.
If you want simple hookups, OKC has a catagory for that, or perhaps try a site/service aimed at that specific purpose (tinder, adultfriendfinder...)
But they don't all have their s**t together, so what gives them the right to demand it from men? Because they have boobs and a vagina ?
Also why not they'll fine with a guy supporting women, why can't women support guys? Also if s girl makes 2k a month and the guy makes 1k a month. Nothing says she has to support him. So tired of pepeople mostly women making assumptions. Love should be based on more then money he makes. In fact how much he makes should even be part of the decision. Women like that are often still single for years and they miss out on a truly loving relationship why over money 0.o I wish I'd been raised superficial like the majority, it sucks being raised with romance and love and kindness instead of superficial and greed.
