And, maybe it's going to be shock, but women can actually work and get money to fund their trips. It doesn't need to be sponsored by other men. Or they can get scholarships to study abroad, or a lot of other things just as man.

Luckily, the 50s were a lot of time ago.

In my workplace, only the senior women who travel once in a while and from their own pocket.

But I would find it strange for anyone early/mid 20 who travels that frequently.- man or woman;
yet I find a lot of those online.

It's much easier for a European young person to travel than an American young person.

There's lots of discounts for European people under age 26. On everything. Especially on railway tickets. Once you hit the "magic 26," all these things go away.

I didn't really start travelling, actually, until I hit my 40's.

I can get a flight to Prague for £60 (US$83) return. Winter sun in Spain (Canary Islands) is like £140 ($193) return.

I’ve overheard lots of women in person in the world say same things :o shocker I know women online thinking the same things they say online in person crazy. I’ve been rejected in person for same reasons, I’ve also had women on gaming systems and on fourm include wrong planet(yep quite a few women here say it too and non of you call them on it) so how exactly am I limiting my knowledge?

How can anyone working afford to take multiple two week vacations from work every year? They’d get fired for unexcused absences.

Lots of boys have their parents find their trips to Europe too. Not many 20 year olds are paying for thosuands if dollars of trips to Europe. Mean have you seen what it cost to go to college? Many are taking in tons of student loans unless their parents pay for it which quite a few do. I remember somenwhos parents paid and then didn’t care about showing up or getting good grades or if they failed a class or not, if I failed a class I’d get a warning if I failed again I’d lose my grants. I got stuck in a project with once such guy and it sucked.

Yeah, that also confused me too,....ladies, sly is right on this one, I confirm - there are plenty of such female dating profiles who are around 25 yet tons of traveling pics and with a long list of visited countries.

I was really surprised at the number of young people male and female (because I'm fair minded, hint hint) in my town who drive around in brand new cars. They are 19-26, how the f**k can they afford them! I wondered, so I asked the ones I know. They pay for their cars out of their wages, as well as their holidays (no where near as expensive) but they don't pay for anything else. They live rent-free with parents, no board, some of them don't even pay their own car insurance. Parents attitudes to the age of their children leaving home has changed hugely here.

No, because I am not bisexual, I don't look at guys profiles.

But when it comes to cars, you're right, I noticed it in both too.

We’re talking about American women not Europeans. It cost over $1,000 to fly to Europe or Asia I’d not more for asia

Why not travel around the US? Utah with it's canyons and unearthly landscapes. Arizona with canyons, landscapes, lake Havasu. Burning Man festival in Nevada. So many national parks. There's Jacob's Well, good for diving. Why go to Europe having not checked those spots?

I suppose cause to americans it’s boring but Europe is exciting cause it’s across the ocean, probably same reasons Europeans get all excited to com visit the USA. I don’t get vacationing, I’d rather just go spend a week at my uncles beach house and relax listening to the waves.

Your post reminded me of an Australian girl who got sick of bad dates and posted on tinder that she was looking for other girls to be friends with (no sex). Apparently she had almost a thousand girls in her area who swiped to meet her. It appears girls who had bad experiences on tinder are more interested in companionship than sex...

No, it's not that - on dating apps, lesbian women swipe/reply on almost anyone female- many of them behave online like a lot of heterosexual guys (and they do send unsolicited vagina pics too).

No they weren't lesbians...I think a lot of young women deep down want a connection and shared experiences on tinder bought these girls together and expression of a desire that's deeper than sex

Unfortunately most of the men just want sex. Online Porn reinforces objectification of girls/women

The culture seems to breed this normalisation of hookups and fu** buddies where men (well those men who are socially mobile) benefit from sex when they feel like it and women try and fit into this norm by swiping right because they think they will be a FOMO if they don't do this

The aforementioned tinder girls getting together illustrates some level of cognitive dissonance where these girls act like "tarts" but probably don't really want to participate. Finding a male "soul mate" on tinder is really wishful thinking

What’s a FOMO?

At least some men want connection and companionship
I do but often he men who meet their life together requirement just want sex with as many women as possible I imagine they realize how in demand they are with women.
