Snarky does not compute, and I looked through all my data banks.
I did notice JoJerome is within the age range I was looking for. I also noticed she to is an alien observer, so may be JoJerome wishes to compare notes? Otherwise I will continue my search elsewhere.

From Merriam-Webster.com:
Snarky
2 : sarcastic, impertinent, or irreverent in tone or manner <snarky lyrics>

From UrbanDictionary.com:
Snarky
A witty mannerism, personality, or behavior that is a combination of sarcasm and cynicism. Usually accepted as a complimentary term. Snark is sometimes mistaken for a snotty or arrogant attitude.
"Her snarky remarks had half the room on the floor laughing and the other half ready to walk out."

From Me:
I observe that the Hu-Man species is the true alien; circular (ill)logic, impatience, I'm still trying to figure out how best to spike the coffee maker at work with Valium. I won't be surprised if the mothership soon arrives for us WrongPlanetarians saying, "Wow, oops, sorry we're so late picking you up..."

JoJerome to spike the coffee maker with Valium is not a good idea. I also hope you were not offeded about what I said. I am so terrible about conversation and joking. As for the "Mothership" I also hope it comes soon.

Okay, here goes:

Real Name: Melody
Gender: Female
Orientation: Heterosexual
Age: 33
Geographical location: Connecticut, USA
Interests: History, religion, psychology, music, video games, animals, astronomy, health/medicine. These are the more static ones; I also have several other interests that wax and wane with time.
Personality type: INTJ/INTP on Myers-Briggs/Jung Personality Inventory. A while back I learned that these types are rare in the general population, but the most common types among Aspies.
Education: Bachelor's degrees
Occupation: Currently I am a psychiatric rehabilitation assistant in a residential setting for those with mental illness. Previously I have had a career in IT spanning several years. I consider myself a "corporate refugee."
Physical characteristics: 5'7", voluptuous, dark blond-haired, blue-eyed, moderately attractive.
Substance Use: I have never smoked or used illegal drugs. I do drink socially.
Relationship History: Two long term relationships, including a broken engagement. Several short-term relationships. I am hoping to form a lasting connection with someone.
Living situation: I live in an apartment with my 2 cats. They tend to check out everybody that visits me. Anybody who is welcomed by them is welcomed by me.
Desired traits in a partner: Somewhat physically attractive, intelligent, independent, sense of humor, sensitive. I am socially clueless with the opposite sex and cannot tolerate game playing. I am looking for someone that I can connect with, that understands me. I have reason to believe that such an individual will likely be an Aspie.

Feel free to pm me if you would like to chat with me. :)

I wrote a profile a couple of days ago, minimized the screen, and it disappeared. So I got a little pissed off and said screw it.

Anyway, so here it is.

Height: 5'4 1/2" (yes, the half is important to me)
Weight: 128
Hair color: brown
Eye color: brown
Favorite food: macaroni and cheese
Favorite color: black or blue. but i really like grey too!
Favorite musician/s: Beatles, Kate Bush, Elton John
Obsessions: Those musicians, 80s and early 90s Nickelodeon shows, Disney movies, Twilight, cats, James Stewart, Monty Python, and many others.

Turn-ons: Dark hair, kindness, nerdiness, sexiness (aspie men are generally pretty sexy to me), goofy sense of humor
Turn-offs: misogyny, ARROGANCE, ridiculousness, drama, anime, no sense of tact (a little problem I've noticed with some aspie guys...yuck!)

I've dated a little in my life and have found that it is extremely hard for me to feel some strong connection with anyone. However, I did once, and he was also an aspie. I guess I just need me one of those. I stress kindness in my turn-ons. I've looked at a lot of posters' past posts and it's disappointing to see how mean some people are. I'm really just looking for a nice guy.

If you're a guy you shouldn't expect a response from this thread. Not that you won't get one, if you do that's nice, but you shouldn't expect one.

Lets see... Well, I'm not what you would call an a**h*le, but I wouldn't describe myself as a 'nice guy' either.
I'm not what a lot of people would call a 'typical guy'. I don't leave the toilet seat up, I cook and clean up after myself, don't drink a six pack a day, don't own any "girls gone wild" DVDs,
and I would rather go and actually go DO something than watch "the big game" on TV...

That being said, I am also not the type of guy who is going to paint your toenails or go purse shopping with you.

I know the above makes me sound like I am a negative guy, but I'm really not...

Just not looking for a flowery, naïve, christian 'nice girl'.

I am prone to random bursts of energy, and can go a bit loco sometimes. I have been described as having a 'Dennis the Menace' kind of mischievous quality. When I am passionate about something, I tend to immerse myself in it. I love change... my life is in a constant state of flux, and I like that. This is perceived as instability to some, and it has doomed more than one relationship.
I am not interested in the "American Dream"... the McMansion out in the suburbs with a corporate job, a dog and 2.5 kids. Yes, I want a relationship, to be successful, even have kids one day. However, I am not going to be another cubicle-working, mcdonald's eating, SUV driving lemming.

I'm into music, and have eclectic tastes. I'll listen to the Rat Pack, 90's gangster rap, Seattle grunge, hard rock, 80's pop, and about anything in between. I typically don't listen to the radio. None of the songs sound good to me, and I get sick of hearing the same commercials 80 times a day.
One of my favorite things to do is go see live bands. Especially during the summer. There is some good live music around here during the summer, like the Basilica Block Party, Grand Old Days, etc.

So if you are intelligent yet irrational, a risk-taker but not a gambler, educated but always learning, jaded yet compassionate, have sense of humor but know when to be serious... we should get together.
