Sort of like being told to "show your feelings" and "stop being emotional", practically in one breath.
Also called "crazy-making speech".
SHE: "... answer me!"

ME: "Well, I ..."

SHE: "Shut up when I'm talking to you!"

Yeah ... been there ... :(

^ Exactly this.

"You can have anything you want for supper tonight as long as it is not beef, pork, chicken, or seafood."

Oh?  Do queerfolk not have these problems, or are their problems just different?

Both.

Not nearly as many marriages or even long term relationships in the gay community.. a whole lot more hookups & short term relationships. Exceedingly rare that a gay relationship involves a child that isn't a puppy or a house plant, either.

Is it less of a "Happy ever after" scenario and more of a "Happy 'til the morning after" one?  If so, then I know of some het-people who play that way, too.

My wife’s gay son has a son. He and his boyfriend are co-parenting.

It’s a civil partnership, rather than a marriage.

Yes. But you know of some, whereas for gays it's almost all - the rule, not the exception. It's a different culture.

Adopted? Test tube baby with two dads?

First I've ever seen you mention your wife's gay son. Maybe just never been relevant. Just seems a bit odd I've never caught that before.

Hmm, the gays I know IRL live in stable relationships or seek them...
But Polish culture of sex is specific and, apparently, even the gay communities here are affected by it - which makes the propaganda of "culturally alien" LGBTs pretty void, to my judgement.

I know, right? They have a strange relationship.

You can't reason with unreasonable people.
I suggest people simply agree to disagree and move on. 8)

That's why she expects me to read her mind. If she tells me what to do it's mere obedience. She wants me to do it freely.

But I'm plotting a fiendish revenge on her
