This is true. It just goes with the territory that she'll be flirted with. But I find it interesting by whom. I never seem to notice lesbians; it's not as if they're waving a flag or wearing a special "I'm a lesbian" t-shirt. I watch "The L Word" to improve my social recognition and knowledgability, while also wondering how accurate that show is to real life.

And about the size debate, if I was still on the market I'd prefer a cute petite woman over an unattractive larger woman, and I'd likewise prefer a cute larger woman (roughly around my size) over an unattractive petite woman, all other things (like personality) being equal. My ex-wife was exactly my size, but I have also very briefly dated a woman quite a bit larger than myself, though I admit I ignored, more than appreciated, that fact. But more power to those guys who enjoy larger women! I think society needs more such men, as well as more women who appreciate guys on the stocky side.

Has she tried to pay attention to whether young men look at her? It may be that this apparent correlation she finds has more to do with her selective memory/attention than what's actually going on.

Probably because she is attractive. I would not delve into it to deeply.

I've known people who just have a clueless look about them. Take me for instance, anywhere I go, people ask me if I need help finding anything because I look disoriented. You said she looks young, to some people, it's just another way of saying "doesn't know any better" and some people find that extremely attractive.

This is an interesting question.

Maybe they think she's a lipstick lesbian. They tend to be petite and very feminine. Which is exactly the physical type I like best, which made living in the SF bay area a bit awkward at times.

I'm bi/pansexual and I find petite people in general to be attractive. It's not their physical appearance, but something about their personality. I wouldn't generalize, but it seems to be pretty consistent; small people have curious personalities. Not to mention the athleticism that comes of being so lightly built. It's just attractive.

Admittedly I know nothing of the lesbian persuasion, but from what little I know there does seem to be a correlation between lesbians and liking small, particularly if they're the dominating type. I haven't looked into it, though.

I wouldn't worry, if I were her. She's lucky being small, in my opinion.

I'm a hetero male, but I'm so tall that even f I find a petite woman attractive, it can be awkward if she's too short. I would pretty much want her to stay about 5'6" the closer to 6' the better.
