The better question is, what do YOU have to offer the type of woman you described?

A clean slate. I have no kids or diseases, and no traumatic fragments and emotional scars from having a lot of past relationships. I don't have a lot of property anchoring me to any particular location or any debt, either, and I can relocate at will if given a reason to do so. As far as class/status stuff, I don't fit well into lower/middle/upper classification because I am highly educated, I am part owner of a patent, but I don't have a lot of money although I manage what I have well, and I prioritize my spending carefully. I consider myself physically attractive, and I spend time and money on taking care of my body even as I let my car fall apart. And I'm not a cannibal.

Well, what i like about my GF is that we have alot in common (almost creepily so and in different areas, in fact O.o). Same age, same living situations, similar music interests, our uncles both died this year around the same time, we both read ALOT (and the same kind of stuff), we're both going to college this year, same favorite color, same alot of stuff 8O .
But we have our differences and like that too. Like she's good at piano, she likes dogs, she's an only child, she doesn't like washing dishes, etc.

Also i like that she's blunt & honest; i can ask her anything.
She's goodhearted, kind, loyal, cute, & lovey.
& she likes me for for me & is pretty tolerant of my aspie awkwardness & quirks ♥.

They are desperate enough to go out with anybody. Once one relationship ends, they immediately try to start another one, because they cannot stand being alone.

Umm....aren't you the guy who's so frigging concerned about dating a Christian? After reading this, I'm wondering why that is - you don't seem to be any kind of model of Christian beliefs or values - why on earth would you care if any woman unfortunate enough to date you is? Before you continue your efforts to attract a partner, I suggest you figure out why you're a misogynist - and then figure out how to stop being one.

My preference is for women with whom I communicate well and can also see myself having sex. I don't really know about who my ideal person is. I don't think I'm a good enough judge of who that person would be. That said, I'd rather she wasn't very religious and didn't have any really serious psychological issues at the time of first dating.

What I have to offer is personal space, my philosophical and academic ambitions, and a blank slate. You may notice the spin I put on each of these three things. In actual fact I can see (at least the manifestation of) these putting off some women who may want a lot of intimacy quickly, a man who is useful and can think pragmatically, or a man with sexual or relationship experience.

Yes someone asked. This was a thread for what people look for in a girl? All he's doing is using an example.

I saw of it more as sticking the knife into aspie females as opposed to just all females.

My views on girls, eh.

Grow some boobs, turn 18, don't talk about Twilight, and then you can stop being a girl and be considered a woman. Then we can talk.

Or by view did you mean using my eyes? In which case most views I take of women are seen on reflective surfaces. 8)

But remember, I respect your feelings as a woman and a human. :smurfin:

Tim, is that really you? This doesn't sound like the Tim Tex I remember. Was the account hacked or should I just chalk it up to him having a bad day?

To all AS Males out there, what are your views on girls and what do you prefer, do you like AS females or NT females and what are you guys specifically interested in?

AS females as NT females tend to be a bit clingy and emotionally demanding in the relationship.

The search is still ongoing but some realizations as to what I'm after: Interest and participation in some physical activity to help keep the weight off (e.g. skiing, hiking, biking, martial arts). Ability to hold an intelligent conversation (e.g. politics, technology, culture, history). Know how to read (e.g. sci-fi, WSJ), little fear in trying something new (ever shot a gun?), an interest in the future and have to like cats.

Well, I love girls. :D

They are soft and smell nice and I like to sit next to them and touch them and kiss them and nibble on them and lick them. :P

I like different kinds of girl. One type of girl is quite small and feminine, dark-haired, with a nice soft middle-class English accent. Although I am flexible on the accent so long as it is distinctly feminine and not loud.

Another type I like are more chav-like: really sexy girls with lovely broad Cockney accents, dressed up in all manner of bling. I love their attitude too. 8)

But most of the time I just lie on my couch and fantasize of girls I used to know, because most of them would rather have a hung young stud to make love to them and treat them as a real man does, and not dote over them, as I do, like some senile old grandad or homo in denial. 8O

Is the question about "my type", or some such?

I like those who live fairly quietly, and avoid large parties. I like curiousity and varied obsessions. It's fun to hear about a new obsession or fandom.

I prefer a calm disposition, and a high tolerance for awkwardness. Someone who'll sit down and sort stuff out.
Problemsolving skills are not as urgent as an attention to problems. Actual skill is only a bonus.

Someone who prefers luxuries that are actually fun or pleasant, rather than luxuries that only exist to make the neighbours jealous. They should at least be jealous because it's fun or pleasant.

And every shared interest gives bonus points.

Edit: I remembered the word for another quality I like a lot. The word is "candid". I wonder if the accepted noun is candidness or candice.

I made my remarks because on many AS forums, includng this one, as well as in e-mail/IM correspondences, I have seen the following:

1. Staying with or going back to drug-addicted/abusive partners, knowing that they haven't changed--implying that being abused is better than being alone.

2. Putting "whatever I can get" on their "looking for" section of their Facebook/MySpace pages--implying that anything is better than nothing.

3. After one relationship ends, they immediately start looking for another partner, rather than taking some time off for themselves before venturing out there socially.

4. Saying they have a boyfriend after knowing that person for less than a week.

It really hurts me when people do those things. If I were interested in someone, I would wait however long I had to until conditions allowed me and her to be together. These people, apparently, don't want to wait.

I am also upset because all the female Aspies with the same interests and sex drives as high as mine are now already in relationships, and the asexuals are now the only ones left--and remember, the woman ALWAYS has the final say when it comes to sex.

And threads about the Simpsons and South Park being short-lived, while House and Avatar threads live long, healthy lives.

And it goes far beyond relationships even. I have had friends abandon me for no reason, and one friend committed suicide. I am marginalized by both liberals and conservatives because of my eclectic world views, and I am angry about the proposed schoolbook revisions in Texas. I am upset because I can't find anyone who likes to travel.

I feel the need to take my anger out on:

1. Liberals who think I am a bigot.
2. Conservatives who think I am a potential rapist.
3. People who, rather than travel and be outdoors, would rather sit on the computer all day and whine and b***h about how the "bigoted conservatives" are keeping them down.

Here is a link regarding the textbook revisions:

Sisterhood, hale_bopp, sisterhood. Those remarks were patently offensive to all women.
