I want children more than anything in the world, and always have.
But I'm currently facing and trying to mourn for a quite-probably permanent loss of my fertility atm.

I don't think I could be with someone who didn't want kids.

Definitely want kids...I'm not quite so keen on the idea that I've got to start having kids soon.

I want three kids of my own - girl, boy, girl.

I'd also liked to have fostered, but this isn't an option.
I want to donate my eggs too, this is dependent on when I have my own kids.

I like the idea of spreading me seed, just not willing to have a load of kids myself.

Never wanted kids at all. I never liked spending time with children and I'm kind of a workaholic anyway, that wouldn't be fair to a child. I've always held this opinion pretty strongly; my family used to tell me, "When you're older, you'll change your mind." Hasn't happened yet...

How old are you now, out of interest?
I'm pretty firm in the idea that I never want kids, but like yours my family keep telling me I'll change my mind - dreading when that day comes, everyone seems to say it's inevitable...

No way. I'm 36 and have succeeded so far in not having kids. I wouldn't want to bring a kid into this crappy world. I don't think they'd have much of a future. I don't want a kid asking me when he's 18, "what do you MEAN you never saw peak oil coming?" My parents got lucky-I was born in 1974, my mom got preggers (planned) in the middle of the first oil crisis. My life could have been very different. In the 70s they were predicting that the world would run out of oil by 1990. If that had happened, the internet certainly would never have existed. I would be trying to forage for food in the ruins of civilization by now. I don't want that to happen to my kid.

I always wanted kids, but I never really saw myself as being married. I have 3 kids and have been married for almost 12 years. I'm glad for both. I think it helps that they're all introverts too. :D

I want a lot of kids, but the whole being pregnant & delivery thing, the more I learn, is a real turn off. Reduced the number I want biologically from 5 to 2-3. So I've been thinking about adoption and fostering in addition to vaginal spawning, for the sake of my body.

I'll probably never have kids though.

The thing is that I grew up around so many relative's kids in my family that I basically helped raise their children that for years I couldn't understand how anyone would want them (I was so over kids). However as I've gotten older I guess my biological clock is ticking or something because I see babies and I instinctively want to have one. I never would though, for so many reasons. There's the passing my problems onto them. Then people mention adoption but who wants a mother who gets incredibly depressed and doesn't get out of bed some days? I would never do that to a child. It's moot anyway, since most guys find me repulsive. I'm from a small town so I'm actually insulted all of the time because I don't have kids when all of these teens are popping out 3 or 4 and people act like that's a good thing.
