Men are allowed body hair and it's more acceptable for them to be overweight and have bad skin, but I believe your other claims are false. There might be men who have low grooming standards but they certainly aren't getting all the women.

I know this for a fact, I spent a year doing voluntary work for a world famous literary magazine that gets high-profile contributors, that poem would get rejected for publication easily by that magazine.

Please forgive my taste....I like beautiful things, e.g. love, kiss, lips, petals, beautiful eyes, silent night, light, lovers, fantasies, etc....

These things do not constitute low grooming standards. They are a matter of personal taste. Some women like hairy men; some don't. Some men like to keep themselves hairy; some don't.

The true dealbreaker is: are the areas you mentioned kept smelling fresh and clean, or are they smelly? :eew:

It is grossly unfair to accuse someone with a pimply face or sharp pointy teeth of having "low grooming standards." Some people suffer from acne no matter what they do to combat it. Acne is not a sign of poor hygiene. As for the pointy teeth, that's just down to genetics. You can't help the teeth you're born with, and not all of us can afford (or want) cosmetic dentistry.

The true dealbreaker is: does he floss, brush and rinse?

I have yet to find a man who is as obsessive about keeping his teeth clean as I am (apart from the character played by George Clooney in Intolerable Cruelty). :cheers:

I agree with the points you raised in the remainder of the poem, although several of them do not actually constitute "grooming" per se.

The Reader...I have read it several times, I think. But it was very long time ago...

P.S. Again, I love hairy man, but his hair must be dark. However, I don't like anything else he has written in it.

I know several men with more hairy chest.....One of them who I have seen is more hairy than him everywhere.

Apart from the awful moustache, that man is actually very attractive if you ask me, and he appears to have what looks like an average, normal amount of male body hair.

If he's supposed to have been picked as an example of someone who's far too hairy, pick again.

Be careful to pass judgement as that person might have a mental health condition, as poor hygiene is one for the symptoms of schizophrenia, unipolar depression, Alzheimer’s disease, and certain phobias just to name a few off the top of my head

Yes but I'm sorry, I have a sensitive nose and odor is an instant turnoff. I can still be friends with the person, I'm just not gonna cuddle with them. >.<
