That's pretty similar to what happened to me once, except it was my 3yo son: Wife asked me to sleep in his room because he had supposedly been having nightmares. The real reason was so she could sneak out at night to be with her (also married) boyfriend.

I hope you don't mind but your ex wife sounds like a real scum bag. Bad aura around her.

I don't mind, she is. I still can't figure out how she got that way, it's like she simply doesn't have a conscience.

Sociopath. I married one, too. I smell a separate thread!

I'm so sorry to hear that, Grisha and AsteroidNap. You guys both deserve much, much better than that.

I could probably go on about that for days but its more a PPR problem. Suffice to say people have too many arguments about what's real, whether human nature exists, and because such people push so hard to reinvent culture or destroy it in the wake of their own naivity we have a culture now where every possible mistake that can be made with raising people isn't just being made - in a lot of cases its even being enforced by the intellectual elite as the 'enlightened' way of doing things.

Well, It's not just that. Some people are just born bad. I know this is a *HUGE* generalisation.. but Grisha's ex wife seems to me, from the information presented, to be one of these people. It's a vibrational thing in spiritual speak. Like a kid from a good family who hurts animals for example.

Was she quite obsessed with material goods and money, Grisha?

Right, and I've often spent time trying to deal with people who honestly believe that such things are all the fault of either capitalism or low self-esteem from standards being set too high. You only laugh about these kinds of things because if you don't laugh you'll cry.

Well it's just my opinion, and I stand by it 100%.

Yes, external factors can make someone do horrible things or get very ill, but some people are just rotten from the day they were born.

For example, there was a story about a violent guy from an abusive upbringing. Although what he did was terrible, I think he seemed more like a lost and tortured soul than a downright evil person like a sociopath.

The first sign of a low vibrational being.
"greed" isn't a "deadly sin" for nothing.

That's awful, Grisha. And, since you have kids together, I guess it's unavoidable that she'll always be a part of your life, too.

No kidding.

The only consolation that I have is that we have thus far completely avoided any courtroom/custody drama...

are you sure they're both your biological kids, Grisha?

Yes, they probably are - I've no specific reason to doubt it...

yes. 1 in 30 people are sociopaths (estimated). it is quite common - more common than ASD (and sociopathy and ASD are not necessarily mutually exclusive, but that is also a subject for another thread lol). stands to reason some people could unfortunately end up married to one. i dated one (fully diagnosed as such), though back in those days they were called psychopaths. i didn't date him long, thank goodness. i was only 16 and he had a great deal of influence over me.

When I was married (10yrs) w/kids (mine) I was working 2nd shift.

My wife was playing a game online (mud) with some friends of ours, I didn't have time to play games that took such a long time.
Things around the house became more and more of a mess. When I arrived home after work. Food still on the stove, laundry piled on the dining room table and around the cpu desk. All that was done was cook diner and thats it. Not to mention what 3 kids do to a house when left alone. A disisaster area ! ! We had a fair and mutual agreement of required chores.

She tells me that a group of them are planning a (mud) get together. and I'm not invited because I don't play, Well 1 led to 2.....while I'm home with the kids One Saturday morning when I went to mow the lawn I find beer bottles in the back yard. So I ask "who's been drinking beer" my kids say "mommy ..(our friends) and Mike... mommys friend" wtf? and I'm pretty sure I unknowly bought the beer also.

I asked "Who's Mike?" and she said "A friend"

This was the begining of the fallout, she denied all, and started to do things just to get me po'd. iow push my buttons to make me look bad (again long explaination) and then complain about "how I am"
We split up (seperated) and she moved out, took the kids and emptied the house while I wasn't there.
He moved in with her the very next day. And she had the kids calling him "daddy" already.
They married and he adopted my kids. and yes I OK'd it as I couldn't stand to let her use the kids as pawns any longer !...(another long story).

And the name of the game "Moral Decay" from then on I refer to it as "Decayed Morals" ! !

and the beer ??? thats OK. her dad payed for my divorice of her :lmao:

Funny/creepy dating story:

So I was hanging out with some kids I wasn't really friends with my junior year of college and there was this girl. She was being so overtly flirtatious that even with my social dumbness, I was able to pick up on it, and after a while she invited me back to her dorm to "hang out and listen to music". After we had hung out for a while, she kissed me, and following some awkward making out, she took off her shirt. At this point I realized that this was going to be one of those anonymous dorm hookups I had heard so much about. "THIS is what college is all about.", I thought, "I don't even know her last name, but I'm looking at her boobs!".

Except that I realized, as I was about halfway to home plate, that I really wasn't into it. It wasn't that she wasn't attractive, or even that I was having a crisis of conscience so much as it was the fact that she just weirded me out in some subtle, indescribable way. Being the real man that I am, I stammered "Uh, I have to go to the bathroom!", and sprinted out the door, narrowly escaping with my v-card (and likely my "No Herpes" card as well). I thought that was the end of it, until the next morning when I awoke to find her standing in a chair beside my bunk watching me sleep.
