Im an aspie girl who ends up every now and then with another aspie whos a guy,
Ive learnt to like kissing, I have a style i like n i judge a guy by how he kisses.
I hate the feel of someone elses tongue on my tongue or their saliver in my mouth.
though since ive been with my aspie friend, ive had to tollerate his kissing style. He doesnt like kissing on the lips and will pull away from me, he instead shoves his tongue into my mouth and kisses that way (which i hate).
Though i noticed after i told him this, he said he can tollerate being kissed on the lips and now for my sake as ive tollerated him so long now tollerates my likes in kissing too.
though his tongue still gets in the way which i have to tollerat. I suppose we hate eachothers kissing styles.. i hate the feeling n texture n i guess he just hates the feeling.
=)

I've tolerated a lot of kissing, but I've never been particularly into it. x_x
Tongues have a gross texture, and spit is disguuuusting and full of bacteria. Just the thought makes me shudder.
(I am 110% fine with dog kisses, though! Even though they are WAY germier and tongue-texturey, so it's not just the facts of kissing that gross me out. I dunno.)

Thankfully, my current boyfriend is not a kisser either. :)

I love kissing, not just the act, but the meaning of it - it cannot be bought like sex can, it can only be earned (unless of course alcohol is involved...)

Awww, I love this!

For me, I like kissing, but I don't like hours and hours of it (though I did when I was younger and there weren't "more advanced, sanctioned activities" in the offing). I like it if it's leading to something else eventually.

And like TeaEarlGreyHot said, it's intensely personal for me.

I like kissing when there is emotion behind it. It is an emotional thing that transcends the potential sensory unpleasantness when with someone I feel "connected" to...Just as sex and "mere touching" can cause me a lot of sensory discomfort, or at best, pure emptiness... if I do not feel right with the person...kissing would feel the same way.

My boyfriend does not like to kiss very much at all...
it makes me sad. I can tell that when he does it, he does not like it.
It makes me feel awkward and insecure because I feel like i might be doing something that causes him unpleasantness....It used to make me feel very terrible and cause me a lot of emotional turmoil.

Am not sure whether it is because of AS or if he is just "put off" by me.
I HAVE gotten used to it tho... :?
He is still my boyfriend.

I like it...don't have a problem with sensory issues while kissing (though if I didn't really like the person it might be different).

Kissing is wonderful if it's with someone I care about. I've only dated one girl that was a "good kisser", but even the more awkward kisses I've had were great.

As far as kissing styles, I guess I'm more of a dry kisser. The first girl I kissed refused to kiss me without ramming her tongue into my mouth and keeping it there, and it was actually pretty unpleasant.

I should have been more specific, I s'pose. I'm talking about full on, wet, lingering, nibble-y, lusty, sensual kissing. With spit. And germs. And sounds and and textures and all that comes with it. Also, I meant to frame to the question in the context of an intimate relationship.

footnote: tongue-ramming is a problem for NTs, as well. It's just bad kissing.

Yeah. Tongue ramming is bad. I think I saw it referred to somewhere as "The Squid" which is pretty appropriate.

And yeah. I've only kissed one person who could give the sort of kisses you describe, but it was fantastic. Before we kissed the first time she said that she didn't have any experience kissing. If that was true, she was a prodigy, let me tell you.

Other girls I've dated, I suspect, were all on the spectrum so our combined awkwardness made making out pretty clunky.

YES! I like it,,,with someone I am bonded with,,,,i REALLLY LIKE IT!! ! I don't like it if I have to fell insecure about it...I can't kiss someone like that who I am not bonded with....even if we were bonded in the past....

that is why I have been so troubled by my boyfriend's reluctance to kiss  He freaks out if I try to break up with him....or just BE FRIENDS with him because I DO care about him greatly and deeply appreciate and respect him as a person and do not want to lose him as a part of my life....

(Sigh)..lots of cuddling...I give major backrubs which are mutually beneficial...am quite intimate with him on some levels...but little to no communication about our relationship. Very little kissing sseldom sex, and no "I love yous" allowed..... :(

It is part of the reason (but not the entire reason) that I finally consented to getting on Prozac.....It has helped. I am less likely to waste energy on sadness over another brusque and aloof non-kiss...
