Advice on long distance relationship?
I was in a long-distance relationship for a while, we actually met two times.
Went to hell sometime after the second time we met.
You look like you might be old enough to make a decision for yourself without having to consult other people. If you are really serious about the relationship, you shouldn't get an apprenticeship in order to save money for a plane ticket. You should be saving for an apartment. Or get an apprenticeship close to him and then move in with him. And do it fast. The faster the better.
But that's just my opinion.
Why is that do you think?
And statistics are pretty useless if you don't have the money and the health to travel to all these foreign climes.
I just think that the earth provides better options than just the UK alone. but i understand your point about it not always being feasible to travel. I'm by no means rich but believe me, by hook or crook i'll find a way of making a visit

I can't believe I'm actually giving a girl advice. You're part of the enemy!
Anyway, I would recommend that you two meet each other at the EARLIEST opportunity. And when you do meet, make sure you spend at least a few days together with each other.Despite not caring about the distance etc, I learned the hard way that you really can't get a feel for how you feel about someone until you two have actually been in each other's presence for a prolonged period of time.
I once had an long distance relationship like that. We watched each other on webcams, chatted for hours and hours on SKype. It was like a dream. Until we met. The first moments together were magic. The first day in fact was magic. But by the next day, the real started to come out and it became quite clear that we weren't compatible with each other. Both of us were in love with the person in each other's heads, not the person we saw physically before us.
This might not be the case for you, and I hope it isn't. Thus I encourage you two to meet each other as early as possible Don't put it off for some unspecified time in the future. Work on doing it as early as you can. Trust me.

I used to do that with an adult friend of mine when I was 14. We used to watch The Last House on the Left (the original 1972 version).
Me & my ex watched Family Guy & other shows on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim segment & on Comedy Central(I met her on their forums) while chatting on Yahoo. We played Yahoo pool a lot too with our circle of online friends & occasionally with real-life friends too
