i havent logged on to my okc in a while
but i logged on to send her the following message:

"nice profile - i hope you are a lez bean"

She was a 0% match for me lol.

Isn't it a breach of privacy to put other people's OK Cupid profiles here, without their consent?

It is I would imagine. Depends if they made their profile open to the public or to registrants of the site.
I frown upon people linking to what seem like average profiles and such. Us folk on WP aren't exactly perfect either (which is kinda why we are here).

When a profile is as crazy as the one in the OP, though, or as batshit aggressive as the 2nd one..then I get the feeling the person that made the profile isn't going to care all too much!
So yeah, a breach of privacy and perhaps needlessly embarrassing depending on the individual. I'd say it's a case-by-case basis.

JanuaryMan, I agree with your point of view, but the matter here isn't whether they are idiots, different, funny, ugly, beautiful, stupid, crazy, etc, but the fact that they haven't specifically given the consent for their profiles to be splashed all over a website, and made a mockery of.

I just don't think it's a decent thing to do. We can all make comments about a third party, as long as we don't name them and put their photos up for others to see.

Like you so rightly observed, who are we to point out what we perceive as the inadequacies in others, without their permission?

They are trolls, I even highly doubt they're even girls.

This. In some cases they are definitely fake profiles. Might as well enjoy them :p

didnt we have a very successful thread not long ago which was making fun of guys profiles? ohh i forgot that was ok because theyre "niceguys"

aspiesandra27, there was a whole thread about a blog that mocks on okcupid guys who claim to be nice guys and bitter, their pictures were even visible there and they were made a total public mockery.

I made the same comment about the guys being mocked on a public 3rd-party site... I was booed and ridiculed almost right off WP.

If they're there to seek attention, attention is what they're gonna get.

Very true - same with "bean lady" here!
However, the niceguy-bashing site took their mocking to the extreme, completely blasting anyone for the smallest of comments the site owner didn't like.

Of course, anyone going to that bash site should have enough IQ to realize the site creator was a ridiculously-biased hater... as much as a "no fat chicks" site would be.
