I like to spend a lot of time with my boyfriend, though I do like my space as well. We'll usually at least talk or text every day, and we see each other multiple times a week (part of it is because we go to the same college and we carpool). We simply enjoy each other's company because both of us can understand the other; very rarely do we actually have to speak to communicate. I honesty didn't believe in soul mates before we started dating, but now I do.

Seeing someone every other day is already a lot to me. I'd like to see them like 2-3 times a weeks.
Also, I would prefer not to send textos everyday since I'm often very hyper-focused on something and thinking about having to send textos is really distracting.

Btw, some people (mainly extroverts) also likes to go out really often and try new stuff. Being aspie this leads me to have shutdown or mood swings if done too frequently. I need some predictable routine that is not over the top. I don't mind going out but not multiple times a weeks and all the time.
Oh and I prefer to sleep alone in my own house/appartment. I like my morning routine!

That sounds like a fairly typical Aspie response.
I relate to needing a predictable routine but I want that routine to involve my partner. I love texting all day/night long even if neither of us has anything to talk about so we don't say much at all but I would rather be with my partner offline in person instead; like instead of talking we could do our own things in the same room together. & I would also sleep a lot better if I had my arm around my partner. I really need a partner

i think you will find that this is different for everyone.

some people like their alone time, whilst others would prefer to be with their partner till the end of days and never get bored of them lolz.

its probably best to fall in between. if you are unsure, its best to hang out no more than 4 days a week i'd say.

if you seem to needy / clingy, some people will 'turn off' super fast, and not want to be with you AT ALL because you are too draining on them.

others, myself included, really dont mind hanging out all the time so long as i can still do the things that i enjoy doing (hopefully we can do them together :D).

I live with my boyfriend and have a really hard time when I'm not in contact with him. I can understand that some people have a hard time with near constant contact, but its far easier on me to have it.

I'd prefer to spend every second together, usually.
I hate being separated from bf.

In most instances, I've been the one who needed more alone time than the other and it caused friction. Right now, though, I'm seeing someone who is very busy completing the last few months of a PhD program at a school an hour and a half away. So, between our schedules and travel time, we're only seeing each other over weekends. It's okay and we talk by phone a lot during the week, but sometimes I'd like to be able to spend more time together. So, I'm not sure. I guess I haven't found my happy medium yet.

It depends on the phase of the relationship. In the beginning I get obsessed but later I like to be in touch over the phone atleast for say half an hour every other day. I don't need regular contact once a relationship is established. I can go weeks without talking or seeing the partner sometimes.

One of my worries in getting into a relationship would be to wonder how often I would have to talk to my partner. I mean if I call her too much, I'll seem desperate and too eager while if I call very rarely, she'll think I lost interest in her and she'll eventually move on to someone else. I'll admit I'm not big about using the phone at all and for me I'd be fine talking to my partner once every one to two days and then maybe go out with her once or twice a week. I guess it all depends on the person but my estimate would be to calling them once a day.

I prefer to have some form of communication every day.
It doesn't need to be intense or long winded, but some sort of meaningful conversation is good.
Otherwise I begin to feel a bit distant or disconnected from them.

Regarding texting or phone calls, I have no real need to this type of communication with my girlfriend, I am usually a bit bothered when she texts me and I must reply (I am usually doing something else and it diverts my attention, which is quite unpleasant for me).

With personal contact it is much more complicated, mainly because we see each other once every two weeks for a whole weekend (due to the distance); initially it worked out well for me, but recently (we are 4 months together), I started to miss her a lot, usually after 4 or 5 days of not being with her. Curiously, although I miss her, I still do not have any strong need to write her or to call her. Also, it does not matter how much I miss her, if there is any change of plans of the visit (such as that she visits me, when the plan was that I visit her, or even that she has time to see me week before than planned) I usually get nervous and totally unexcited about the meeting, though I usually find it enjoyable afterwards.

I am also sure, that I would be able to see her every day; once we went for chess tournament together for one week, spending most of the time together and though I did not mind when it ended and she went home, it was a rather pleasant experience being with her nearly all the time.

um i dunno. it'd be nice to know they were alive, but not too frequently.
then again, if i wanted contact at a particular moment and didnt get any i'd probably be abit upset

I need affection, or at least his presence.
