I don't miss anything with a woman during the holidays, because I have never experienced such before...

though one thing I would really like to experience is to set up a fireplace and get cozy with a nice lady in front of it.

...or is that too sappy and stupid?

I don't think it's too sappy and stupid at all. In fact, I think it is quite sweet.

I've never had the Christmas experience I would want with a partner during the holiday. :(

I am alone again for the holidays and I know I daydream about having the perfect white Christmas treatment with someone I love and care for. It doesn't help that I am addicted to Christmas so feel that much more lonely that I cannot share my passion with another.

Of anything though, I want so badly to have someone to curl up on a settee with, red and green plaid blanket wrapped about us, sipping hot cocoa as we listen to crooners sing about the snowy weather with real fire crackles interspersed.

Things I miss doing with a partner during the holidays

Getting that perfect gift that wasn't on her list
Keeping the gift a suprise
Decorating the tree
Baking cookies together assembly line style
Frantically wrapping her gifts and hiding them well
Making breakfast for her
Puting together all the "some assembly required" items.
Having a balled up wraping paper basketball-ish contest afterwards
Just sitting with only the christmas lights on and candles lit
Watching those claymation "Frosty" ,"Rudolf" etc movies from our childhood

Being in the right place at the right time.....under the mistletoe !
