Could someone explain what is considered creepy behavior on here. Someone sent me a PM a few days ago about me being a creep because I mentioned how I was single & looking in more than a few threads. I may of been tossing the idea out there but I was NOT really trying to come on to anyone & I really did not think my behavior would be considered anything really bad or anything

Nick007, i dunno what is considered creepy specifically, but your preference for girls who are younger is kind of well known because you've mentioned it a lot on your posts (i.e. talking to & flirting with teens on other forums). so if you interact in the same way with much younger women on WP it could be considered creepy to some people, depending on what kinds of things you are saying to them.

That's what I think to but different members here can have vastly different definitions about what is considered creepy & what is OK. Some of the women complaining about creeps could be talking about nothing worse than my post or they may be talking about stuff that is really bad. I think we need to have guidelines written up that explain what's creepy in appropriate behavior like harassment. It's hard to address the complains about members here being creeps when we don't know exactly what behavior those complains are referring too. I think the word creep gets tossed around too much here

Don't worry what other people think of you. It creates unnecessary stress. As long as you're not harassing anyone, there's no legitimate reason for anyone to complain about your actions, so just ignore it.

I never PMed any members here trying to hook up with them. I almost never PM anyone here unless I get a PM from them 1st so I don't think the way I interact with younger members here hyperlexian is an issue unless it's noticed in my post

well, i've noticed it but i don't know if it would be considered creepy or not as i am not an expert on that. if it bothers you, then you might want to ask that member why they think that.

I really am NOT trying to flirt with younger members here or anyone here really. I'm mostly trying to be friendly & helpful but I'm awkward so it comes out wrong & looks different than it is. I seem creepy simply because I s#ck with interacting sometimes. I wish people who use the word creep would talk about the specific behaviors instead of simply using the word creep because that word is too vague
