I guess it is time for me to redo my profile and go back on the dating scene. yippee for me. My issue is that in real life people dont give a s**t about my personality and just want me for sex and my looks. I don't have much else to offer so i will try to sail by on my dry wit.

unless i crop out everything else it wouldnt be hard to spot my pancil arms, flat chest, etc. And if i did crop all that out it wouldnt be hard to figure out why the rest isnt being shown

not a bad idea, Boo. we need people to try some insane things to see what works in online dating. i mean, we have our own experiences but it would be useful to see what can make a difference for other people. we need to recruit guinea pigs. :twisted:

For the record, OKC is the only site i dont have a shirtless pic in. It hasnt helped me much in any others.

i had it as the avatar. Didnt help all the other shirtless pics looked like something out of a "firemen" calendar. If anything ive had more people look at my profile since i took that off my avatar than before.

I was messaged by someone who was a 70% match and was a little apprehensive but I took the time and looked at what questions they answered. Come to find out the questions were not good at determining a match but when we started chatting it was becoming clear how similar our minds were. We have similar interests and also prefer to drink almost everything warm even juice. It's Bizarre. His profile revealed that he could be clingy and he admitted that but said he would give me more space if directed.

I was on a year disabled my account at least 3 times and was finally going to accept that I would be merely improving my communication skills and not find anyone but on a whim they decided to extend their search area and found me. We now talk on the phone and are meeting IRL soon.

So that's proof it can happen
