"The Game" was a book wrote a few years back talked about Mystery and others. Still I learned a few things from the PUA stuff but never could be like any of the gurus ,not that I would want to. And there is no way to know just how much of what they say is BS.
I will agree this PUA stuff is geared to NT women not aspies.

I did my research on PUA(still have some of the books I found with me to read on the subway because I think that the jokes they tell as facts/whatever are great

) and I found some people that were indeed worth a listen.
Then I did some research on this people by spending a month receiving their newsletter... I understand that this wont give me a full view of their program. But what they were saying was basic stuff.
-Try to avoid yes/no questions, give her a chance to keep the conversation going if she wants to.
-Try to start talking without having to rehearse what you are going to say next because the other person will notice what you are doing and think that its just an act

That being said there are some people that do need this sort of common sense to be brought to them and if they are able to look past the douchey stuff on the book and learn the common sense stuff Im very happy for them but I still think that there are better books out there that may have a less attractive marketing but are far better written.

Exactly, its things that to some seem like common sense but that to some might be stuff they never think about. And unlike most PUAs that force sexual things theres a few that simply let their conversations flow naturally. They arent beating the woman down to their level, they are more or less proving they are of an equal level. Which makes it so they arent a**holes and whatnot. Its the mystery method type that you have to watch out for

I must admit pick artist material can be great when it comes to creating a good first impression and that will not only help in projecting a positive image but it will also help in other areas such as giving a good presentation of yourself which can help when it comes to employment and dating. I think many men on the spectrum can definitely benefit from it if they are willing to put in the time and effort to increase their social skills.

However it's still a business, I have never attended or read any of the mystery method books but I think you can take certain aspects from pick up material and implement them into your social repertoire.

Also Gambler is a reference to Richard who lives in London, he has written a more sophisticated book or at least one that is better or more suited towards people that live in London or Europe.

I had to google PUA to see what all this was about.
I must admit though that all of this common knowledge was not apparent to me and I did learn some things from browsing the forums.
I decided to try to use some of these techniques? in a conversation over facebook with a girl I like and it seems to have went well. In the end though I feel that what I have learnt from my 3hrs browsing the forums is that it alot of this dating stuff comes down to 1)confidence 2) being relaxed 3) timing.
I dont endorse the PUA stuff but it is interesting to see how NT's operate and how they are likly to react in a given situation.
