NTs are creepy.
Anyway if you want to talk to these... types of people. You have to learn about gossip and media which is I'll admit can be out of depth but this does capture attention much more effectively. Otherwise you'll have to search in new surroundings.

You need to keep the questions open ended and try to get the person talking about themselves or something they are passionate about and make a relation to it so you both feel like you are relating with each other and the conversation is leading somewhere.
