Editing time )Well another name for it would be unrequited love and it's definitely not the most ideal situation but I think your advice is good. Maybe even pursuing a course or taking up a class would be good in this case, anything to get over that romantic obsession or fixation is good.

Works even for things which aren't about a previous affair. Thus this would make your state of mind more occupied and better.
